so i play on controller which is easier so those of you on wii this cannot help you but if your on ps2 or pc or xbox i imagine its almost the same, so what i did is play the game normally and once i finished it (no speedrun) i went and practiced all of the levels i could not do first try and once i could do them more and more i would go on to do it without failing in the actual run
another thing, do not do the dance levels they will cost you time (unless you are doing 100%) but if you are doing any % i advise you do the 2 to the left when you spawn in the arena and 1 at the right 

Also if your on the cow game in day 1 you can save 3-8 seconds by throwing the cow at about 1 quarter of the bar which means it will take less time for it to stop rolling and you can throw it quicker and still get the 60m mark

cool lil trick, if your on keyboard + mouse just use your keys to turn Rayman mid swing and on wii or controller tilt the stick the opposite way as soon as you start your swing on a rabbid. Try to min/max by hitting the last rabbid of a colour near a new colour's jukebox and swing rayman to hit the box while swinging on the rabbid. Will increase slow-mo effect and let you immidiately start pathing to the new rabbids
