Here are a couple of tips for how to decide whether a map is worth running in All Border%:

• Before making your first input, look at what you can see. If you can see any map edges you can judge whether you're close to two edges - if you spawn in the middle of the map, that's an instant restart. If you can see the center of the map, and it doesn't have a relatively flat path from one corner to the other, that's an instant restart.

• For the current wr (40s), you want to be at the first corner before 10s. If you hit it later, you might as well restart. The theoretical best is 7.542s (when you spawn 32 blocks from both edges), but I've yet to see any run below 8s. The theoretical best for corner-to-corner is 30.170s.

• When moving, you want to be as close to the diagonal as possible. Walking sideways loses you time, so it might be worth it to destroy blocks in your way instead of walking around them.

• Water can be traversed if it's 1 deep by looking straight down and spamming build and jump. Practice this a bit, as it can save a god run if you're lucky.

Other than that, it's just a matter of spamming new worlds and hoping for the best. The faster you give up on a bad run, the more worlds you'll get to try.

Bedrock with autoclicker

1.download an auto clicker
2. open up classic
3. notice how much lag the auto clicker does
3.5. give up
4. spend 1 and a half hour with an auto clicker

Border%

Note this thread is for the singular border% in the run and not for all of the borders:
this could also work for tips on all borders but eh
The main goal of this speedrun is to get close enough to the border. You are only capable of spawning 32 blocks at minimum to the nearest border so it can't really be truely optimised like "oMg 0.0 SECONDS WR" or any of that nonsense.
The best way to do this is to have a close border. 32-45 blocks is where I'd say you should try to go for. Now note: Unless if you're some kinda god DO NOT try and get a run when the border is near 20 blocks of water. The only time where you would want to try this is if you're very close to the border or if you just want to put up a run on the leaderboards.

Break Dirt

1. reset until some dirt is in your face
2. click

Build a L

1. build a 4 tall 3 wide L
2. get a world record
3. get beaten
4. spend 3 hours building Ls
repeat

Build Limit

1. Look down
2. Create a pattern pressing Space then left click
3. Repeat this pattern until you touch the top

Destroy a Tree(new)

1. The spawn
Generally, for beginners, you want to spawn within 10 blocks of a tree, but for more advanced runners it is good to be less than 5
2. Side #1
For side 1, you want to butterfly click (normal click on trackpad), one layer of the tree. this will eliminate several blocks and is a solid start.
3. Criss-cross
Next, you want to swing your mouse aroung the tree from the corner randomly, which will destroy several blocks very fast. Do this until you have a few veins of blcoks floating around
4. Strategic breaking
The next step is simple, but crucial. You want to destroy veins of leaves one at a time, don't switch from vein to vein.

8. Click "File" then click "Save" (or press Ctrl+S)
9. Reload https://classic.minecraft.net/

Make sure you reset until u get lucky

Get a lucky spawn with the mineral in sight, right in front is best.
