I started pressing left mouse button (LMB) and right mouse button (RMB) at the same time to quick-click mines around flags.
To avoid "being stuck thinking for a long time", I try to look at a different area the moment I have to stop to think.
Sometimes clicking without putting flags helps. But sometimes it's easier to do the RMB + LMB thing.
Kind of tricky to explain in words, but yeah.
