The game currently has no requirement for video proof, so under the current rules there's nothing wrong with that.

If you think that shouldn't be allowed, consider requiring video proof (at the very least for top runs, but across the whole board is ideal IMO).

Note that if you do this, you really should not apply the requirement for proof retroactively.

It absolutely makes sense to apply it retroactively. A self-verified 'WR' with no video is an absolute joke.
