Empty splits with transparent icons for the current 200% route. This route has been specifically been made for Funky Mode, however, the level order is still the same for Original Mode. Just make sure to not die 8 times in 2-4 there and go from SE -> Normal (or the other way around) for Original Mode splits.

*Note for beginners: It might be helpful to buy around 6-10 green balloons and around 3-5 banana juice bottles from the shop after 2-4 Normal. If you equip a green balloon item before falling into a pit (except 6-6 for the most part), you can avoid deaths. Banana juice is useful for levels such as 4-Boss, 4-6 or 4-4 to damage boost into collision at least 5 times extra per juice bottle (Funky Mode stats). This only loses 20 seconds or so and is heavily recommended for beginners (advice from me, you can get an easy Sub 2:20 even with items, just do it pls)

Shop (8,10) - Before you go into 2-Boss, buy around 8 green balloons and 10 banana juice bottles. Green balloons are your backup  and save time from deaths. Equip them before you'd die in a pit (doesn't work in 6-6!). Equipping banana juice for 4-3, 4-6, 5-4 and 6-K is really fast for traversing the levels and collecting puzzle pieces without much risk. This should save you multiple minutes. There are also instances where you could equip banana juice too to make things easier, like 4-4 or 4-Boss, so make sure to collect coins throughout the run and use them in shops additionally in worlds 3, 4 or 5 if you need to (timeloss: 20 seconds for each shop visit, not much). Each banana juice bottle gives you 5 extra hearts in Funky Mode.

*Note for beginners: You can also do a shop visit after 2-4, so that you can use green balloons for 2-K if you need them. You'll be low on coins though if you're playing it save though, the holy juice is very expensive. Also make sure to start the run with 0 coins, otherwise it might not get accepted with the shop route ;)

All Stages | 100%

Empty splits for Any% with Death Abuse in mind specifically. It contains icons, as well as abbreviations in brackets which may help you with the route of this category.

The abbreviations mean the following:

SE - Exit the stage with the secret exit.

SE1 - Exit the stage with the first secret exit.

DA - Death Abuse. Die 8 times in a row. 

CP1 - Play until the first checkpoint and then do the Death Abuse. Dying from this checkpoint is the fastest method.

shop (28) - Before going into 2-5, go into the shop after the 2-4 DA and buy around 28 red balloons for the remaining Death Abuses in the run. 28 is a decent amount, since you can still die a few times and the route should work. To be extra save, you can also buy a few more if you have enough coins (keep the Any% DA ruleset in mind, start the run with 0 bananas and coins!).

Switch Kong - It is fastest to switch from Funky Kong -> Donkey Kong or Donkey Kong -> Funky Kong here for faster (but more difficult strats). Switching is entirely optional for most beginners though. Do the strats that are the best for you first and give the most amount of consistency.

Any% - Death Abuse

Empty splits including icons for every current Any% route, except for Death Abuse. This means that these splits can also be used for Any% Original Mode, except that you may remove the additional notes that state that you "Switch Kong".

SE1 - exit the stage with the first secret exit


Switch Kong - Optimally, before entering the level, it is faster to change from Funky Kong -> Donkey Kong or from Donkey Kong -> Funky Kong due to faster strats.
