1. When you die, you still have the ability to restart in the top right until the screen goes black. This makes mistakes in fullgame runs less costly and grinding for IL records less time consuming.

2. If you tap and hold before jumping/walljumping/etc, you can buffer inputs. This can even be done if you hold some inputs, die, then spawn in again, and it makes 0.93 in level 1 go from decently challenging to not hard at all. There are still some cases in which you shouldn't buffer (like for example 2-2, where you need to stall doublejumping to lose height and avoid dying to a blue wall) but it's really helpful, especially since you will always be jumping at the first possible frame.
