Sands of Time Beta Demo (PS2, on the Jampack Winter 2003 Teen Disc) in 5:37
All PoP appearances in marathon runs can be found in this spreadsheet
Since skipping cutscenes is a literal game feature you're allowed to skip all of them yes.
@SixRock Someone is currently trying to program an automatic load calculator operating on the video file of the run via optical character recognition. Let's hope that project is a success because even on the same console loads can differ by ~5 seconds (over ~14 minutes of loads which is not too much in comparison but still).
Until then, given you play on a normal PS4 with HDD, there is at least a standard load time amount you can apply to Crash 1 Any% runs; the other games and categories don't have anything like that so far.

Alright, thanks for the quick answer :)
This one is for the full mods/staff I guess, if I suspect two accounts on this site to be owned by the same person, is there someway to communicate that so a full mod can look into that? Is there maybe a thread for that already? Or is that maybe (a) not relevant or (b) not against the site rules? (since it's "just" kind of a secondary account and not ban evasion). Just curious, thanks in advance :)
On behalf of the PoP community I'd like to request having Bl removed as a mod from all the Prince of Persia games aswell as the whole series. This is long overdue since he isn't active anymore in any way and didn't visit this site in 11 months so it's pointless to keep him as a mod. But since he's a supermod everywhere (relic from when series mods where mods for all the subgames) we can't do that on our own. Thanks in advance :)
Edit: same for SkeletN, he wasn't online for 6 months and is also not active in the community anymore at all.
Not sure if that's splits.io messing up or this page. (source: https://www.speedrun.com/run/y8q11lny )

The demo you can download from the steam page of The Graveyard is free and differs from the full version only by not being able to die on the bench; everything else is the same. Therefore, since the autosplitter is only for Any%, you should be able to simply download that free demo and run Any% on it. For the other categories like Bench% or Survival%, you can use your dev copy without problems.
Okay, I will explain it again :) By definition, the timing starts when granny starts moving. The autosplitter exists to make sure the timer starts at that exact point. If the timing does not start at that exact point (but 3 or even 9 frames late), it doesn't mean that 6.05s is your time according to the leaderboard-defined timing. It means that either (a) the autosplitter has a problem or (b) you didn't use the autosplitter at all. Either way, whatever your timer displays is not the time you got. So your argument "That is the WR, you just can not accpet it" is wrong since I can show by simple framecounting that what your timer displays is not correct by 0.1 or even 0.2 seconds. Fortunately, your latest submission seems to be okay as the timer starts and stops on the right frame and therefore seems to reproduce the leaderboard timing.
P.S. I hope the description of your 6.11s run
wasn't dedicated towards me :)
You might be misunderstanding, the autosplitter is a tool to accurately display the run time according to the timing rules ("The timer starts when granny starts moving and ends when the after-game menu appears."), because times of this short category should be more accurate than the number of frames in a 30FPS video; also determining the point where granny starts moving can be quite hard from a recording. The run you provided in your video is 188 frames or around 6.27s (+- 0.067 aka. frame uncertainty) long according to the timing the autosplitter should follow if it's working properly. Therefore, your Livesplit displaying a 6.05s for that run is obviously wrong and if it was used, there has to be something wrong with the autosplitter.
That's weird, because as I said, the timer started 9 frames late and after rewatching the video it also stops 2 frames late, making your time a 6.29, so it's not a PB anyways. It seems strange that the autosplitter is that broken but feel free to contact the author of the splitter, tcd11, for further help. If someone can help you with that problem, it's him.
