Guys do you know why the game is still working when I click esc sometimes?

ok ı fixed it btw I'm from Turkey so my English kinda bad but it is an offensive comment

I don't know whether you know this but, when the timer is working while I'm running, the game lags, that's why, I take down the timer(I mean it is still in taskbar) but now the timer is stopping, when I click it, It still continues, but while running, It freezes. Bruhhh
