Yup, the lower the FPS, the higher chance you skip a standoff. Mainly depends how far the triggers extend e.g Marketplace's first standoff extends to just about the stairs past the melon cart, making it barely possible to skip at low fps.

Last post for tonight - couldn't find a way to clip back up and I know that you said that a lot of downclipping situations in Penthouse crashes but maybe, maybe something is possible?

Completely useless on the estate (as far as I know...) but may be useful somewhere else?

Had a play around with market skip and I can't seem to get the final enemies to spawn to progress to the teahouse? Absolutely strange

All the other levels where downclipping would be useful (pent, mega) just crash if you get in an area early

Would anything museum be feasible at all? Would love to experiment but need to sleep.

Either way, these are some really cool finds that I would have never even thought of. I do remember trying to somehow get out of Tai O's spawn, but never really occurred to me to use a frame limiter

Unfortunately I had already messed around with the autoscroller area stuff and found absolutely nothing except instant death barriers so I'm not super disappointed by that news, but sad to hear nonetheless :(

How did you set up the frame limit by the way? I'm messing around with the settings and for some reason RTSS is just not letting me limit my frames whatsoever

I know this thread is 8 years old but I did find a faster + relatively easier way to skip the first shootout. Also comes with the benefit of infinite health and ammo until the restaurant bit of the level.
