Hmm... I guess it would be best to just keep things as simple as possible and just stick with RTA timing.

All castles is cool idea too. The difference between that and all levels would simply be beating all 8 bosses, not completing every individual stage.

I really like the idea of having this. I know Greenalink's segmented run is a good place tp refer to for some basic stuff, but as you said the RNG in that run is excessive.

Thank you! I know star coins will make routing tricky but I'll work all that out. We may just have to beat the game then go back and then complete the levels with signs and world 4 and world 7.

Do you guys think all levels would make for a good category? It would be a blend of 100% and warpless and it would be the only non 100% run to feature world 4. I know we have Individual Worlds now, but I still think All Levels would make for a unique and fun category.

You know, just to keep things simple, why not just calculate in game time? For instances such as 8-t2 the death would be part 1 of timing and the rest would be part 2. The sum of segments would be our final time. I know this is an extreme idea but it would get rid of version differences/advantages.

I think we would need separate categories for each world though such as any%, 100%, and definitely all levels for at least IW.

I've been wanting to suggest this for so long! I definitely support it. What do you guys think about an all levels category? Poor world 4 never gets any love in RTA outside of 100%
