Making this thread just to acknowledge a couple of runs that can potentially be considered World Records, but lack sufficient evidence to be included on our leaderboards here on speedrun.com. Most of these runs are acknowledged on The Sonic Center (TSC), which, whilst not used often now, used to be a hub for Sonic Speedrunning back in the late 2000s and early 2010s.

The runs in question are:

0:41.833 by SpeckWii Achieved on 30 Sep 2022

I'm not sure if this is me making a typo or not being able to read something properly, but I had this listed in my now-obsolete World Record History document as a World Record, but there seems to be no proof of it, so who knows where I've got this stat from.

A time of 0:41.933 by the same runner (SpeckWii) is currently acknowledged as the World Record on the leaderboard.

=== SAVANNAH CITADEL BOSS ===

0:15.633 by Hunters13 Achieved on 9 May 2015

0:17.266 by Mo Achieved on 28 Jan 2009

Both of these times were recognised on TSC as World Records, with Hunters' run superseeding Mo's run. However, no video proof has been found for either run. Whilst Hunters' run seems out of reach given our currently acknowledged world record on our leaderboard, Speck has found a triple hit, which we believe can be used to set a time as fast as what Hunters submitted to TSC back in 2015.

A time of 0:18.133 by SpeckWii is currently acknowledged as the World Record on the leaderboard.

=== ARID SANDS BOSS ===

We have proof that such a time has been set in the form of a screenshot of the run on Yuuki's Twitter, which Kino has helpfully linked in the description of both his own run and Yuuki's run on the leaderboard currently. However, as we are requiring video proof of runs for acceptance on this leaderboard, this run cannot be added.

A time of 0:10.400 by kinoplat is currently acknowledged as the World Record on the leaderboard.

=== EGGMANLAND BOSS 1 ===

1:15.382 by Lanzeelus Achieved on 16 Sep 2009

Much like some of the other runs, it would appear that no proof has ever been supplied for this run. It was recognised as the WR over on TSC.

A time of 1:16.165 by CephaWacka is currently acknowledged as the World Record on the leaderboard.
