the expert leagues don't exist anymore since the E4/master leagues replaced them when the game was being updated

i've been routing for heavy league (with no timeskipping) which i think could inspire a lot of potential any% routes because of the length of the category. i'll dm you a link to a server that has a magikarp jump channel; it isn't super active atm but would love to get discussions going in there

i've discovered a spawning displacement glitch in seedling. here's how you do it:

1. press R to go back to the title screen (but don't actually restart yet)

2. once you see lava in the background map transitions, actually restart the game.

depending on the last warp you took (stairs/hallways/doors/etc) you'll restart spawning in a different area of the starting map. some example pictures below

i'm compiling a google doc of which warps send you to which tiles of the map. the position you are on the screen doesn't matter, just which entrance took you to the room you're in. the most obvious way to use this is to spawn closer to the nest entrance (if you just enter the nest and exit, then do the glitch, you spawn right outside) but i have bigger ideas.

if you spawn out of bounds (pictured above) the game puts you back inbounds. basically, i wanna see if you can spawn out of bounds behind the rock so you can access everything else without a sword. if you just walk from that direction and then do a glitchy restart, you spawn inside the rock and can't move, so i think spawning 1 or more tiles further is necessary.

the legality of this for runs can be figured out later.......... but hopefully someone else is interested enough to investigate this with me ^_^

i don't have a download to the game like the one you posted for warpy1, i've just been playing it on flashpoint. should i just link that instead?

after some testing i think the glitch works something like this:

you have to have enough speed, and the portal spawn has to be behind you. if you land onto the button with enough speed and tap the opposite direction (to face the portal) right before you hit the button, you can teleport to the portal. i got it to work pretty consistently on level 17 and even got it in a run, but on other levels i haven't had much luck yet, which i think is because it's hard to build up the speed. worth testing on other levels for more timesaves!

you can also play it (and basically every other flash game) on bluemaxima's flashpoint emulator

on some levels, i've experienced a glitch where you teleport straight to the portal after hitting the button. so far (iirc) i've only had it happen on levels 5, 9, 12, and 17. i've hit it like 3-5 times on these levels and never on any others. i have no clue why it happens but i theorize that it may have something to do with changing your direction or speed as you hit the button? if we could replicate this setup consistently, it would save a bunch of time, especially if we can make it happen on more levels. i made an image of all the level maps for reference (sorry it's a bit ugly LOL)
