Oh no! thanks for your reply... I didn't know that...　is splitter allowed? it's a speed run timer for the macOS

I recently downloaded LiveSplit, but I can't use the timer. so I go to downloads, then LiveSplit-1, then LiveSplit.exe. but when I click it, it does not do anything! even when I click open! is livesplit.exe the file for the timer? is this a computer bug? I use macOS. someone please tell me. I don't know what to do.
