I prefer the normal OBS with SL Chatbot (which has a chat in it) because you can't change the size of the preview in SLOBS which just results in incredibly small options at the bottom, in OBS you can change it so both use half of the screen which is way better as someone with like 30 scenes and 10-20 objects per scene... And the Chatbot has FFZ integration while the SLOBS Chat doesn't.

Id say SLOBS is super useful for people with slower PCs/smaller monitors but for all others it would be better just running multiple programs.

A NTR variable would be a possibility too if some people don't trust it.

NTSC games work on any NTSC N64 (you just need to remove a small part on a US N64 to play JP games, nothing bad tho). PAL is a thing on its own as you can't play NTSC ones on it (or at least theres no easy way I know of).

A new leaderboard just because its a bit slower is unnecessary imo, rather create (sub-)categories for 3DS/Switch, if even that as you can use filters to see the fastest time for each console.

From what ive found (didnt test it myself yet) it should be possible by typing in "javascript:location.reload(true)" in the URL, also works on Desktop PCs. The only other way ive found is to manually clear cache on all sites in the settings.

Is it allowed to use NTR to record runs?

You could use an iframe and display the leaderboards like that, the only problem with this is that the navbar is displayed (if thats even a problem). Maybe you could change it somehow via JS? Not sure tho

You can always speedrun on an actual console, its actually the best thing you can do!

You could ask the other mods, theyre still able to remove the run and remove mod status from that person.

NES, SNES, GBC and GBA emulators probably work

Im not sure, but if its allowed just use "Citra Master" and not Canary/Nightly as those two seem to be way slower and even crashed on the final course for me

^ Id say thats a bad idea as there may still be things to discuss. Sure, some thread bumps are unnecessary but its worse if every time theres something to say a new thread has to be opened with a link to the old one.

Also, please setup the game with rules and better category names, no one knows what to do in these categories if there aren't any rules.

Reminder that you can create your own leaderboard with google docs or something, or just run without a leaderboard.

Go to the category you did a run of and click on "Submit run".

Then just enter everything (incl. your YT video of the run), if you don't understand something there ask in the games forum (link is at the left side of the games page).

You also need a video editing tool, audio isn't the only place you can find splices. And i don't think its worth it to check every run submitted, just do it when a run looks like it couldve been cheated/spliced.

If you don't use a account, don't list it, and definitely don't add a non-existing account to it! This social media feature is there so users can contact you, not to brag about the number of accounts you got.
