I loved watching these runs a couple years ago but now there is not much progress to be made and this is not like starcraft with people actively running it to this day

So I guess the ALI + CHAR mechanic in the original was not intended to work like this. I mean that if you wanted to NOT tank your ALI you had to let your strongest guy sit out from a lot of fight to not overlevel them. This was annoying because you had to sit out a lot of fight especially for named characters and mages (ofc I am not talking about speedruns here just casual play)

Dunno man this is the best tennis game I have ever played.

Personally I would love to see an entire game speedrun with no codes, like from scratch until either you buy the best bike or you finish the whole game. From what I have seen you gotta get lucky to clear some course in level 5 and even level 4

All 3 are different games, I wish there was some kind of sequel to Golvellius on the Master System.

Lux is used because of one particular upgrade glitch in the past that can be repeated and you can max stats Lux with this. Not to mention he has best early game and overall easier time. Otherwise you would need to grind something like 4 hours more with other characters or was it 3 hours. PJdicesare has ran pretty much all the characters and so did Zakky, I do not think anything could be improved on their speedruns.
