Heyo! First, a bit of a preface to my question: I'm a long-time fan of the Dead Space series, and recently a friend of mine who speedruns Resident Evil 2 inspired me to try my hand at speedrunning Dead Space. I'm totally new to speedrunning in general and I just wanted to make sure my setup is acceptable. As some of you might know, Dead Space 1 has some pretty nasty mouse issues on PC without some graphics setting tweaks.

So, my question is if it's okay for me to do my speedrun with this particular mouse fix mod installed: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/840-dead-space-mouse-fix/ This mod alongside the custom graphics settings makes for a very smooth experience when playing DS1, so much that I would say this mod is necessary for an enjoyable experience playing DS1 on mouse and keyboard.

EDIT: I was just watching Retroid's Impossible Any% WR on PC and it looks like they have the same/something similar to the mod I linked, 'cause the game's mouse sensitivity is definitely not that good otherwise. So I'm assuming it's okay?
