hello, im having i weird issue with the site, im trying to submit a run to a leaderboard but when i try to write stuff like the time or copy the youtube link where i should put it the site reloads itself, so i cant submit the run, this is the first time that it has happened, im on Chrome if that helps.
hello everyone, me and SuperGamer64 have decided on that from the 1st of november of 2023 and forward a video will be required as proof for a run to be accepted into the leaderboards, it can be a run obtained at the moment or the replay from the leaderboards but the video will be necesary to have your run accepted into the leaderboards of the site.
this is necesary because the 3ds can be easily hacked and the times can be modified or obtained with hacks, like some recent runs have show that some users (not the runners btw) have achieved times that unless video proof is shown are imposible to obtain like times of miliseconds in some levels, and its better to show how something is obtained in video so other runners can learn and hopefully improve their own times.

hi, im checking both runs currently and one starts the time from pressing the start button, but the other starts from taking control of the character, which one is the correct one?
i think that it should be the one in which the timer starts with pressing start, because thats the one used in the other versions.
the point of a leaderboard its to have people that want to be part of it participating, creating meme categories that a handful of people are going to run over actual categories that would get the comunity on it is stupid, if that isnt an option just keep the 4 main categories and maybe add glitchless or something and thats it.
i mean, the thread is about suggesting new categories, they are going to get extra work if more categories are added, under that line of thinking just do nothing else and keep the game like it is.

you know, beat every level/hammer bro in a world without using any items that you got from previous worlds?
i dunno, its great for individual level optimization, maybe do Doom style small mario start to not just be p wing + star start for some creativity.
it will have more people running it that some joke run like 69 coins or other meme categories.
something that would get a load of players would be Individual levels, using ingame time like in new super mario bros 2.

in RE4 segmented is a category on the category extensions, and its more used to practice for single segment runs than its own category with a lot of competition, its not going to take over, and i think that for the noobs like me it would be fine.
