I'm not sure if there is an easier way, this took me FOREVER to do, but you might have to edit all the runs into temporary categories (with similar names to the ones they should be in) then apply the subcategories again, then move them all back, I think when you bring back the NGG sub the runs will come back as well
Should be a contact tab where the three horizontal dots are next to forums I think
Ahh, I see, have you tried setting it to an individual category (for the moment) to see if you can see the runs again?
Wait, I see under Markus_264's profile his Low% run had no subcategory applied with it, so that means there wasn't any subcategories at the time that run was submitted right? Do you have individual subcategories set up for each category or is it just one subcategory that spans all the categories?
Hmm I'm not a very technical guy so it's hard for me to explain, but I know the problem, if there isn't anyone to better explain how to fix it you might just have to contact an admin like ROMaster2 said
I just looked at some of the ghost runs, when you reverted things back for those two categories are you sure there wasn't an overlapping subcategory (where you can select the category you want for the subcategory, there's an option to have all categories affected) or anything like that when you made them causing the runs to still not show up?
Hmm which category(s) are the ones that are affected?
I had this same problem in DeadCore when I first started making subcategories, changing everything back should've worked unless there was more than just the variables and sub-categories that you changed
Did you delete the category itself or add subcategories/changed something? If you didn't delete the categories themselves the runs are still there, you just need to remove whatever you added to the categories to see them and then move them around and such, like put the runs in a fake category, make your subcategories, then edit them over
You could always ask one of the mods about when to start the timer and to stop it through the forums or PM one of them to find out
That depends on if that sort of thing is allowed for whatever game you're gonna be running, you'd have to ask the mod(s) of the game you plan on doing that for
Probably won't matter to have video since it'll be second place
@drewlmd This isn't quite the place to try to contact a mod from the game, you can try asking http://www.speedrun.com/botw/forum there or asking gymnast86 on twitter
Is there some strat or anything to going up without getting absolutely reamed by it? It seems like unavoidable damage which sucks and has gotten me killed before because of it
I'm probably terrible with gauging but I just tried the door thing with my original gba compared to gpsp and the load times look to be the same, I'm far from 100% on that though and wondering if someone could test it better than I?
Someone just stated that mgba is significantly faster so I might just ixnay on even trying to get that to work properly for me, I haven't had any emulator problems regarding input lag before though which is weird, I need to find out how much faster gpsp is when it comes to loads
I've been playing this on my 3DS with gpsp and it hasn't had any input lag and I wanted to switch to using an emulator on PC to be able to record but both mgba and visualboyadvance have just the slightest bit of input lag, is this common or fixable?
PM through discord might work, some people might have so many things followed the notification gets lost, or they might've forgotten to follow the game itself
@Balletdancergabe31 have you tried contacting 1RD? Also that might not be a good reason to become a mod lol
