For this idea the PM system would be handy (which i have heard is still in development). IIRC it also has been mentioned before to be able to follow leaderboards. But writing it down to feed the admins is always nice.

Game requests can be done on http://www.speedrun.com/requestgame (on the games page on the right.) If the game is on the list then there should be a submit run button in the right top corner.

you need to get partnered on twitch to get an option for a subscriber icon. that one you have to make yourself.
The icon will then be imported to sr.com.
But the first hurdle is twitch partner
You dont have to say it in the forums sphericalchrusher, admins/full mods will see it and accept it (most of the time).
Not every game is on this site. And if the game is not on the site you can request it at http://www.speedrun.com/requestgame (you will become the mod of the leaderboards then so you gotta keep it up to date then). If there is a community made leaderboards allready you can get help moving that (in case they want that).
@Kehorie maybe something to add to Gyoo's answer. If the game is allready on the site then requesting it wont make you mod. you have to ask the existing mod (or a full mod/admin if the mod wont respond).
Mano if you request a game and it gets accepted you are automaticly the mod of the game. This thread is for something else.
Make different leaderboards for each combi and show those that are most common and hide the others as misc categories. (there might be other options, but im sleepy atm ( )
If you timed the run you can submit it to the game under the game page and then the moderator(s) for the leaderboard will accept it or deny it. The video is the proof of the run so it can be twitch or YT (or video sites i dont know about).
codmw3man if its a background it has to be the backlayer but if its like a layout with spaces cut out then its top layer. so it depends on the purpose of the "background"
The japanese cover thing is for the translated site (which isnt released yet). So when your on the japanese speedrun.com you get to see the japanese covers and when you are on a different language (i dont know but they might add more options for more covers when they are closer to releasing) it shows a more localized cover you would recognize.
Add an image in OBS/xsplit and set it to the back of the layers is what you mean i think
EN: If you want to request a game go to http://www.speedrun.com/requestgame which is findable on the games page. When the requested game got accepted you can set up the leaderboards and add the times.

Dont use this thread to request mod just because you want to moderate the leaderboards without asking the existing mods, If they do their job they might not need extra help. Use this thread if the leaderboards you want mod for is not being updated correctly/lacking runs/being very incomplete.
