Correct, so wait for the moderator(s) of the game to verify the run. It may take a hour, it may take 2 weeks, but you just have to be patient and wait for it to be verified by the moderator(s).
Yeah please don’t ever ask someone on a forum like this for their phone number or anything else personal and please don’t ever give out that information to anybody. Just be safe and smart.
Even providing that as advice to this issue is so pointless and haphazard; don’t recommend people to ask someone to compromise their privacy in such a way.
Having some categories default to PS2 and having others default to PS4 is a little weird when scrolling through. My suggestion would be to pick one to be the default and set that for all the categories to prevent needing to switch manually when going through the categories.
You capture it like any other console out there. If it connects to your TV in some way, you need a capture card. If it’s a handheld, the you need to point a camera at it (assuming it doesn’t have a capture board mod available).
I went to 3 different LBs and the follow button is on all of them. I didn’t try and click it to make sure it’s functional (I don’t want to follow games) but I can confirm it’s there.
I believe there were issues with button being caught by adblockers before. If you truly don’t see the button in any LBs for a game, try disabling any browser addons you have to see if one of them is removing it.
Record your TV or screen by pointing your cellphone camera at it. As long as you’re not trying to record runs that are super long, there shouldn’t be any issues. Just make sure the video is watchable (bonus points if audio is clear). You can always talk to the mods of the board to make sure they don’t need anything additional
Yes it’s intended. Changing a run, even the description requires it to be re-verified to make sure that the amendment to the run didn’t invalidate it. It’s not a bug, there’s no “fixing it”, you need to wait for it to be re-verified by the moderator
Define “using SRL”. If you’re talking about racing, you’re better off reading the guides to racing on SRL itself. Racing is all done through IRC, so you’ll need to make sure you understand how to use it.
And to post a run here, you go to the game you want to submit a run for and click on the “Submit Run” button in the top right corner of the LB.

This person seems real, but idk. One of their social media links is a website for “free casino money”.

The easiest way to frame count is to take your video and put it into a video editor like Vegas or Avidemux or any other one that can show the number of frames. The you do the following formula
(Ending frame - Starting frame) / FPS of video capture
That will get you the length of the run in seconds.
There may be some games that require splits, so always check with the mods of a game. You may see this in games with an autosplitter that removes loads from the timing of a run. Without the splits it might be harder to verify the final time of the run.
Every community policies these things differently, so it’s always a good rule of thumb to double check with the mods of the game.
Are you asking how to frame count a run? That’s usually a pretty accurate way to time a run assuming there’s no drops in the video.
That’s been brought up before and has been shot down. The game approval process is not entirely linear to what’s in the queue, meaning that sometimes games submitted after yours will get approved first. This can be for a variety of reasons because the process is manual by site staff.
This feature would only increase the amount of posts saying “why wasn’t my game approved on X date like you said it would be” and that’s not good for anyone.

Not sure why there’s so many bots copying r/speedrun posts and making them here.
This doesn’t belong in this forum. If anything it belongs on the Talk forum. This forum is for introducing yourself to the site.
