Yeah, I feel the same way. I'd like to see a mod's thoughts on it though.

Obviously, I've done some co-op speed runs with my friend of this map, but I wanna know if anyone else would like to, including maybe you, Cavin856? You do have the solo WR for now (until i finally get around to submitting a solo run with the survival strat) after all, so you'd be a good person to team up with.

If I did a run of this with my friend would you add it as a category? One person does keyboard one person does mouse.

How do you reset your data in Run 3?

In Survival Branch only can you

1. Use the Freebie Wool? and
2. Use the brown wool it gives you for completing survival? You could preserve it out otherwise but in my opinion that'd be a unnecessary added annoyance. Also it'd be nice to be able to use the Freebie, but it makes sense if you can't. It doesn't save much time at all if you can use it.

So if you still wanna do this, I'd do it with you, but you can't really split off to do different branches because there's a lot of areas that do /tp @A in a command block to bring everyone into the same branch, including when you join a branch in the first place. But multiplayer is a thing now, I did it with my friend, and I'd be happy to try it with someone else.

I could see crafting a sword in survival and preserving it into the arena. Other than that idk, and that likely wouldn't help a ton if at all

Just a heads up, there is a much easier way to do the survival branch AND do the preserve glitch than the one we know of now. if you go in on creative and break through the top of the bedrock box, you'll see a button up by the command blocks at the top, and if you press it, it gives you the brown wool, teleports you, resets your gamemode, etc. The button was likely used during map making to test that it worked. If you power the block that that button is on in some way from the outside, you'll finish the survival branch.

So, here's my strategy.

1. Immediately when you spawn in the survival branch, turn around, go to the tree, and get two wood.
2. Craft a crafting table, one set of sticks, and a wooden button, then craft a wooden shovel.
3. On your way to the bedrock box, use the shovel to grab 15 dirt and/or sand
4. Go to a specific block on the right side of the bedrock box (based on where you'll be facing while running there) and block up with your 15 blocks. Place your button 1 block down from the top block of the bedrock box, and you're done! I think the block you place it on is directly in the middle of the right side, but I'm not sure because I have my own way of recognizing where to build up, and I didn't write down the coords. This strategy will be used when I finally get around to recording uploading a run.

Also, I tested the preserve glitch with this, getting a pressure plate and a redstone repeater, and it worked. I even did Survival Branch Only unrecorded and untimed just to prove it was possible with my method, and it is. Not sure I'll ever do a recorded run of Survival Branch only, but hey... maybe?

So then you should make sure the host/video person is the one who finishes the minecart ride first to stop the timer? It's impossible to see when the other person finishes by looking at one person's screen

Alright, works for me. Do both players need video proof though? I know there's no official category yet and there would need to be a few new rules of clarification for that stuff. Also, I assume the starting would be kind of like starting a random seed glitchless run, where you open it to LAN before time starts, and people can join once time starts. Except it would still start on movement, no need for typing /time set day.

Also, can you please reply to my thread about multiplayer runs? Sorry to bother you, but Idk if you may have missed it or something.

Oh, okay. For no exploits, though, may I suggest that you add into the rules the fact that for THAT category alone, you can not alter the command blocks with levers and such? I don't think it's even a question that you can call that an exploit, after all, even if you allow it for glitchless

Hey all. You would have no idea who I am, but I've been doing unrecorded runs for a while on my own, and I'm planning on actually submitting some soon. My friend has also taken some interest in the map, and we started to do 2 player speedruns of the Glitchless No Preserve category. A lot of the strategy has to do with me, the much more experienced speedrunners especially for this map, being boosted by him punching me in certain areas, along with a few special strats as well. Is it possible that you could add 2 player runs to leaderboards? It'd be great to have it for all of the categories as an option, imo, but at least for glitchless no preserve and glitchless with preserve. Anyways, thanks.

Personally I would love to see this category in the game. After all, I don't see why not. It certainly wouldn't hurt anything to have it, only help, giving people more options. I think I may start speed running this game soon and this is a category I'd definitely want to try when I do start.

How so? It tests your ability to do a lot of parkour consistently with little or no error. I don't get how that's dumb
