Sorry, I didn't see this until now. The latest version of the game has some additional cutscenes in the sewers level. This is great for casual play since it makes the objectives a bit more clear for a first time player. For speedrunning, those cutscenes lose some time. I forget how much exactly but its not a lot, maybe 10 seconds or less? Its still faster to play on the old version however.

If you want to downpatch, you can check the pinned messages in the #puppet-combo channel in the Indie Horror Speedrunning Discord server.

You need to travel between the windows. If you have any other questions about what is and isn't allowed in glitchless, the world record does all of the allowed strategies in glitchless.

It can be any key, if you want it to be a number you need to type out the word (Zero, One, Two, ect.)

As a sidenote you should really join the discord if you have a question. You'll get a response way faster than you will here. No one checks these forums pretty much ever.

The only reason you would need Livesplit is if the game is on PC and uses a community made script to remove loading times from the run. If that's the case and you don't use a timer, the moderators are supposed to accept your run but with the loading times included. So basically you don't need a timer to submit

If you want a timer for yourself I'm sure splitter is fine although I've never used it myself since I'm on Windows

Just read the rules before you attempt a speedrun you intend to submit. Go ahead and speedrun what you want and how you want but if it doesn't follow the rules that the community set its not being accepted to this leaderboard.
