Thanks for all the feedback here and in DMs! The appropriate changes have been made, you can go look at them!
I’m not too sure about Any Class as the default. We’ll postpone considering this as it’s a small change and wait to see if more people want it, cause right now I haven’t heard that many requests for it.
Btw, if you’re interested about the technical side, while Option B is cleaner on the leaderboard, it’s not cleaner in the database. But hey, who even looks at that XD
Should be good now, sorry
Cool opinion, my DMs say otherwise.
I've reverified ~90 runs in 2.5 days, tomorrow I'll start verifying new runs.
We’ve removed Drencho from the mod team. Some of his runs broke speedrun.com rules. We decided he was not fit to be a mod.
I just got word that masterman is on vacation, he'll be back soon.
I’m doing my best, I’ll get to verifying new runs after I’m done reverifying old ones. I’ve already reverified over 50 old runs, revamped the rules, and got in touch with the community to set up a Discord. Stuff takes time, give it a week or so. As for the other mods, keep in mind the power is in the hands of the community, not the mods. If you don’t think they’re fit, you can ask them to step down. If the majority wants them to step down and they don’t, you can report them to speedrun.com staff.
@Cheqmated, do you think 45min would be a better fit?
Go read the newest post I'll explain, basically we’re removing glitched runs until the game is out of alpha. It’s just not realistic to accept glitched runs with new glitches getting found and patched every couple of days. Once the game is more stable, we’ll accept glitched runs again.
We are planning on adding time limits to each category!
This is a speedrunning leaderboard, and regular playthroughs should not be here. This is what we are thinking, let us know your feedback on if these time limits feel good/fair:
- Death%: 1 min
- 10 KM: 5 min
- 20 KM: 10-12 min
- 40k: 18 min
- Any%: 1h - 1:15h
- Trainless: ?? We will wait for a few runs to get posted before deciding
So what do you think? Do these make sense?
Also, for any questions about the categories, they are getting reworked right now. I’ll explain all the changes once the rework is done, it should be done tomorrow. Thanks for the all patience and feedback.
@CooperTheBigBoy, please bear with us. Distance [OLD] will be removed once all the runs have been moved, this takes time. About your pending runs, I said I’m putting all new runs on pause until I’ve reverified old runs, this is needed because a lot of them had false times. Again, this stuff takes time, and per speedrun.com moderation rules, I have 21 days to verify runs, I promise I'll get to them within that time frame. This speedrunning community had a bad foundation, and I’m fixing it, just be patient. Thank you for understanding. If you have constructive feedback, please let me know.

We probably will, what challenges would you like to see? I was thinking: Trainless & All badges.
Good luck with the record attempts.
Are you only talking about Die% or everything? We added a new rule stating that all runs must start within 2 minutes of loading to prevent an AFKing meta. I like the idea of giving players with slower PCs time to wait for everything to load in properly.
I understand your frustration, but the majority of the community wanted this changed, I think you might have a biased opinion because of your record. Having to grind bonds in between speedrun attempts is boring and makes it easier for those who buy them with Robux. If we get more feedback saying to revert this, then we’ll consider it, but for now, most don’t want it.
I’d like to remind everyone that speedrun.com’s rules, under the “Submitting a Run” section, clearly state: "Runs featuring inappropriate video or images on the side or highly offensive/slanderous audio may be rejected."
All existing runs in "Kills" have been reverified.
@kidsgimmeurssn I guess you're right, it was more of an oversight than a bug, but it did get patched so we can't keep it as it would be near impossible to beat now. Hope you can understand.
I want to add on to the glitches part since I’m getting questions about specific glitches. Basically, if you’re not sure it’s an intended game mechanic, it’s most likely a glitch and will most likely get patched. If it doesn’t get patched, it’ll probably be on the spreadsheet. Still unsure? Ask me, but I might not know either since I may not have started the spreadsheet yet.
TLDR: If you think it will get patched in the future it's a glitch.
