I won't be able to run this for a while, but as we all know, MK8 was way faster if you had the right digital setup. I'm curious if MK8D is the same outcome in terms of load times?

Also I may plan on routing this soon. Finally finished routing a 1-2 hour run I've worked on for a few weeks so maybe time for this. I most likely will attempt it during spring vacation. Friday Next week + the week after off. Also @friks on the license screen I'm pretty sure the color slightly changes for cups based on 1/2/3 stars. Why only make them bronze. Go all gold.

I think 3 stars should be required honestly. 1 star isn't 100% complete. Why half ass it? We are going for a full license ranking. My run did 3 stars

I wouldn't really allow online in the first place. Even if you did now a days I wouldn't since original wfc is gone. I know wiimmfi is a thing, but let's be honest. It ain't that good and stable

@royal I think that's way too far fetched for something like this. Why not just use the fastest method to unlock her? It's speedrunning for a reason.

During spring vacation this month I may do a 100% run (14th-23rd).

In the past 2-3 months https://www.twitch.tv/tripleh10234 has done a 100% run. Sadly he didn't highlight it. Such a shame cause I wouldve liked to scan through it. All I know is the time from his twitter post "Mario Kart Wii 100% done in 8:22:13!"

Maybe within the upcoming days Ill actually plan out this run. If 2-3+ people have runs of this. I could see this becoming at the very least a misc. category.

Any kind of texture hack or different music has been allowed in the past. Slower loading times though, I used them a while ago in runs till I found that out.

No ISOs means you can not load an ISO file off the Wii, nor play on Dolphin

I know MKW is a bigger game than MK64, but I'd love to see a 100% run just like MK64.

A bit back I did a segmented 100% run that took 11 hours, 7 min. (3 Stars on Every Cup, Every CC, Unlock all Tracks, Characters, bikes/karts)
