thats a possibility but sounds tedious if you want to get all the upgrades before each mission. Timing should start as soone as you can move your character and ends with mission complete screen. Plus I thought about adding @ct27 then I forgot about it :OpieOP:

I don't know why but the timing should include the start of run like any% instead it is timed for the don% segment. always confused me OpieOP

I had to adjust the Default Time since the Full-game Leaderboard old Time w/o Loads wasn't accurate. Sorry for any inconvenience.

thanks for reminding us. I looked at R6S runs and I figure it would be categorized same but include TH maps individually.

@WRP_Beater GTA has many miscellaneous speedrun categories like all robberies, all hidden packages, all unique stunt, etc. So why not for Godfather since it has potential more side quests to speedrun. Also it could be easier for those who aren't into speedrunning more than 3 hrs long games.

This might be good idea to make fun and maybe shorter runs for Godfather games. Like for example Take Over Little% without the need to finish the game main missions. or Longer run would be all hit lists 100%. What ideas you might have for new categories for fun or serious runs put it here. ^_^

basically in Arena Challenge Mode I want category of ''no added bonuses run' and 'with added bonuses run'. These categories wouldn't apply for the main missions (other ILs). Is there a way to implement what I said?

I remember I pitched this idea at SDA forum long time ago but didn't had much activity since SDA is almost a ghost speedrun site. I figure I bring the idea back again about new categories. Supreme Mercenary Ace% Supreme Soldier Ace%/Soldier Ace% Supreme Knight% New Game any% Ace Difficulty

If you want segmented then I'll make separate Don of NYC% segmented.

timing starts when you have control of your character (as soon as you slide down rope from the helicopter) and ends when you lose control just before screen fades to black.

if you are doing single run sure. E.g. You could use Don% and split the run for any%. Though I think it's best you do runs separately for optimization. Can't be segmented where you do separate game by loading the save file.
