Not necessarily as you can time the run offline on another PC or laptop and add the splits.io URL when you submit a run. It is recommended to do so and have a timer, but if you can't then doing the splits offline and submitting to splits.io works too. So yeah welcome to the gears community too :D
If you can make up the rules and post them here then sure if people would run it.
Capture card is broken now and have to wait until Feb 27 to do runs. But that's what my sum of best says is 2:18:XX
The rules for NG and NG+ are in the rules for the categories so if you click the sub categories then you can find the rules. The differences are that New Game is starting the game without saying yes so you have to get every weapon and nimpo. For New Game + it's saying yes so you start with all weapons and nimpo. And MIST must have changed New Game++ to Any% which makes sense as it's the fastest way to play the game.
Okay so I thought of something that makes level leaderboards or any leaderboard with multiple people listed less cluttered. If two or more people share the same time for a record then only show their flags. And when you click the run you see their full names and flags.
Or should multiple names cause a scrolling bar to appear then it uses only the flags instead.
Sure why not, it would be different enough.
I'm honestly getting annoyed right now about this as it seems now the mod in question is practically ignoring my runs. Okay so I submitted runs for Splix.io that are pending from Jan 4th-6th and one run is literally 3 seconds long and he went on Jan 6th. And now I see he went online Jan 13th so that's twice recently after the runs where he has had plenty of time to see the runs. I even posted asking to be moderator as he clearly needs help in verifying runs as he can't verify three short runs.
Can something be done because this is just getting ludicrous, sure he may not be 8 months inactive. But going online every so often and not verifying runs that can clearly be done within minutes is stupid. These aren't long runs at all, and like I said it really feels like he is ignoring them.

As I said before he never replies on twitter and on forum posts. And plus he was online recently and can't verify a 3 second run? I would understand if it was a long run like 3 hours, but Splix.io runs are never more than 5 minutes.

Hi, I would like to be added as a moderator for Splix.io. Even though Arnold0 has last been active since January 6th he takes so long to verify runs. And you're probably thinking it's just this time he is late, but he is consistently late to verify. I believe he needs help in moderating the game as this is just ridiculous and it's so hard to get in touch with him. He never replies on Twitter and never replies in forum posts too so I can't contact him at all.
I am knowledgeable on the game and quite good at it. I even retimed runs from a category and made a forum post about it as well. My run was one of them too as I looked at the score instead of captured blocks. Here is the game page http://www.speedrun.com/Splix.io
I noticed that not only was my 1,000 captured blocks wrong because I looked at the score instead of blocks. Christinator stopped the timer too early so I did the honor of retiming his run. I also changed my time of my run to the appropriate time. As well as retimed Khroam and Ampsen's times and even recorded the retime to get an accurate time.
Honestly I don't know why Arnold0 didn't even notice this for not only my run or theirs.
