I don’t have imgur
you dont need to have an account to upload an image there. but since their recentish dumb decision id straight up avoid that and find a new image hosting service. you can also send the picture on discord and then get the link to that picture from there. not the best for long term but.
they have no affiliation with the site so choose carefully who you trust
dolphin is to my knowledge the one and only wii emulator. i doubt any board allows the use of it (unless there is a misc category allowing people to compete against other emu runners)
yeah record it with what you can (id recommend OBS over bandicam but it doesnt matter) and upload the video to youtube. to submit run go to a games leaderboard and hit the "submit" button and fill in the form
And that the "Latest Runs" page probably has no one even clicking on the games or runs
i always forget the page even exists and its literally the index page (aka the page you get when you search the domain name) :D whenever i open this site its always straight to the forums
yeah i have no clue what you are trying to say @jackzfiml :P
(@jackzfiml you know "pizza" isnt a flavor. what it tastes like depends what you put on it >:D)
i despise dogs
you dont have to make a copy. if you want to make a new set of splits then edit the ones you currently have (or start from 0 by hitting "close splits") and after your splits are done hit "save splits as" and make sure the name isnt the same as some other split file
- ape escape
- i play along with a tutorial or a lower ranked run once then just start doing runs. best way for me to learn the route is to do the route
- dont know. like the only "challenge" mid run could be having to pee really bad
- what does this mean? i speedrun when i feel like it its not a job i have to do.
- dont know about others but i get a good co commentator and then i just play the game like if i was home streaming my runs and you forget you are in front of an audience
averagetrey has a handful of great speedrunning (or similiar) documentary videos. ex sms 120 shines and any%
the game might be 20-30$ but you are forgetting that the potential runnner might not even have a wii which adds lets say 70$ to the money to spend and if they want a decent recording quality (aka no camera pointing at tv) theyll have to get a composite capture card and lets take the classic gv-usb2 as an example and add another 60$ and then depending on where you live lets say finland youll need to add shipping 30$ to that and then customs 24% of the 60$ which would be 14.4$ so in total to run and record with decent quality you need 194.4$ (assuming you have a pc already) if you lived in finland like in this example. now if you are american you can take off the 14.4 customs and lower the shipping to below 10 probably but thats still alot of money to be able to have your run on an "official" (src) leaderboard
then go ask for an exception?
