It's planned https://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/4qysx
I think the plan is to allow text view as well as game box view when we implement it. Having it integrated into one page should make site navigation simpler.
I don't know which games have tags yet or not, but I made a list of the popular games with some: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xvLtNIXCErA2iNvOBXKj9XrjZBqfsA4MFprWdtuVFRE/edit?usp=sharing
I'll add more overtime at the end of the sheet; though Google Sheets has been really uncooperative lately ignoring copy-paste. It's easier for me to upload new versions.
Small bug. The front of the forums uses the large coin icon for donators when their name is small:
The subforums have them sized accordingly:
Can we get an option to turn the games list back into what it was previously? I much prefer the one big alphabetical list, no box art or anything else.
A link to a 'flat' list in the top left most box could work. It was nice being able to crawl all the games without using API.
Having the categories treated as their own games internally would allow for much greater customization. ie restricting platform/region if necessary, if in-game time is usable, legalizing emulator, and possibly specifying mods per category (which would resolve issues of missing/arbitrary categories, though what's considered 'misc' would still be argued).
However, it would be rather impractical to implement. I'm just mentioning it for brainstorming ideas.
This isn't a request, but a reference point for what games can use a series.

I'll be looking for main/sub-series throughout the week.
Clicking the notification button in the top right corner (the one that looks like Earth) -- The top most notification is hidden behind the fixed top bar. Case in point:
...okay, I guess it wasn't behind, but the notification for the run is bugged:
It was notifying me of this: http://www.speedrun.com/run/9me15vqy
Great job rolling it out! I'm still going over all the changes, but what I noticed immediately is the games boards in http://www.speedrun.com/forum are no longer sorted by my custom order, but by alphabetical.
Star Fox. Not 64, the SNES one. That game has a godsend of an atmosphere. Of course it won't ever happen since Miyamoto has extreme preference to 64. Don't get me wrong, I really like SF64 and even think it has better gameplay, but the first game gets you REALLY engrossed.
The Gex trilogy. There's a shred of hope with the Square-Enix Collective project.
It's a technical limitation and an interface problem. Adding an option for 'all categories excluding x' would bloat the settings when the same thing can be accomplished with duplicate entries for the other categories. I agree it's kind of annoying but not really a problem. They could implement a checklist system for which categories a variable applies to.
A workaround if you don't like duplicate entries is to mark it as not required. That way people submitting a run for the category without "No Esc" can leave it blank. This would allow it to be blank for the other categories, though. You'd have to pay attention to that when approving runs.
I'd...rather just hold it or wait for a pause moment than have a pee bottle.
http://www.speedrun.com/user/virendrakumar http://www.speedrun.com/user/daftarynimita14 <-- However, the mods and others found the post humorous. Your call. http://www.speedrun.com/user/John-Hexder <-- POSSIBLY human, Spectre is part of James Bond but it's a post about jackets. http://www.speedrun.com/user/Amodini3 http://www.speedrun.com/user/jubentits
Obviously World of Warcraft is considered a Warcraft game. It's the only one in the series that isn't together with the series on speedrun.com; it'd make sense to have them together. Having sub-series for series usually only apply to massive ones like Mario and Mega Man.
Moderator status wouldn't change for either this game or the series. It'd just be a move by an admin.
Comparing with other games, and how dramatically different the game is, it'd probably be best if the GBA version was a separate game. bounceyboy can add the game to the series and add you as mod of it, most likely once you have a run of it. In the unlikely case he doesn't notice/ignore you the admins can add the game for you.
Before streaming I go though a small checklist of things before starting. If I'm expecting a long stream I'll sometimes get food or go to the bathroom first.
Before starting runs I'll usually practice segments that I'm not as consistent on. If the practice goes bad I'll grind until I get it right at least 4 times in a row (unless it's dictated by RNG). Then I'll actually start runs.
