DenmarkThe run was made to be how fast you can get from lvl 1 to 50. So in my opinion it doesn't matter how you get there, as long you launch the run with a lvl 1 character and end it with a lvl 50. (Obviously follow the already set rules as well.)
I don't think that it's necessarily a bad thing that this Lost Ark speedrunning thread is used for these purposes. However, if the threads that detail a specific topic in the game are just copied from someone else without their permission that will be a problem. So if anyone has a problem with a thread and can give me the link to the original article I will immediately delete the post on here.

How long the loading screen takes shouldn't be counted towards the runs time. Since the faster your computer is the faster the times.
I will be retiming the current runs to the updated rules as I get time to it.

the start is 20 seconds slower than the old game and the Miriam exploit is 30-40 seconds faster. Thats quite a time loss
And the dialogue is longer in the new version aswell.
you have to look at Miriam when she opens the door. I cant recreate the way people are completing the quest before she's done talking.
watch my run vs the wr and you can definitely see why its impossible to beat it.
I think the timer should start as you load into the first dungeon like in a all episode run. And end when you load into Rocco town after clearing the last dungeon like in a all episode run. Tbh just make the rules the same as an all episode run just the whole town instead xD
I don't care about the runs that don't follow the rules to be taken down since I'm quite confident I can beat the wr either way. I just care about future runs following the same rules so their wont be any confusion.
Can't recreate it since my game load too fast. And my experience is also from the old version. And I haven't been able to do it in the new one. Either because my pc is faster than back then or they have fixed it.
Sorry for the forum spam but since i intend to speedrun this game for a long time I need to know all the details.
All the runs for 'full rucco town run ng+, full ng+' have different ways of timing the run. Some when they have loaded into the town, one when entering the first district. And none is using the way of timing the rules say? Can anyone explain since I plan on doing the run soon.
