I tried recording a run of the “World and Canadian Geography” category, but the first question referred to an invisible image. I’m assuming this is just a bug with the app, but by any chance does anyone know a fix?
I noticed that the rules say that an on-screen timer is required, though an approved run I saw didn’t have one. Is it fine then if I record without one? It would be most convenient for me to just use the screen recording function of my iPhone.
Your run should currently be listed in the Pending Actions section of your profile. It will either be accepted, in which case it’ll move to the runs section of your profile, or it’ll be rejected, in which case it will be in the PA section but under the rejected runs header. If you want a notification on this site and/or an email when your run is approved/rejected, you can manage that in your notification settings.
Ask in the Mario Odyssey forum, but most games should accept phone recordings.
I noticed this game is absent from this site. Is that something we could add? I don’t know whether this is something I should put in a request for myself, or if the series moderator should do it.
Anybody able to get in touch with them? They haven’t been active in a month, and I haven’t heard back from my message on this site and on YouTube. I don’t have the other social media listed on their profile so I can’t use those.
It looks like it’s on Switch now as well, as part of this collection: https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/namco-museum-archives-vol-1-switch/
The physical puzzle wouldn’t count, as said above. I’m sure there’s an online version of the puzzle, so you might try requesting that to be added (if it isn’t on this site yet), but it still might be considered a “generic puzzle game.”
How do I beat this in the minigame coaster? There has to be some trick I’m missing….
There is a limit currently of fifty pending runs. Any runs over that are invisible. I propose a temporary fix of a little note that says something like "Limit reached--not all runs shown." That way players are aware that a limit exists.
Your account needs to be 7 days old I believe.
@ShikenNuggets Based on that, if I may make a suggestion for the site, could some message be added when there are more than 50 runs pending? Something like “Limit reached—not all runs shown.” That way people would know that their submissions are going through.
I found out today that Xevious was released on Nintendo Wii U. Can we have that added as a console?
It’s already used for placement in Stage 2-10, and the game times you in increments of 10 milliseconds, so I think it would make sense to add them. It would also eliminate inconsistencies with rounding (some people here always round down, while others round to the nearest whole second).
Thank you—I was looking for something like “stage select” and completely missed the practice mode. 😂
Is there a way in the game to run one specific level? Or do you have to just keep restarting the world?
@Oreo321 Exactly 50 (it’s a whole bunch of ILs). But the fact that it cut off at a round number suggests that that’s the issue. I have one more I submitted that isn’t showing up.
