The mobile ad experience makes it very hard to verify a run on mobile. I gave up after hitting the X about five times and not getting the ad to disappear.

Removing yourself as mod from a game results in "Error: Unauthorized." A success message should be displayed, instead.

I kept getting "comment is too long" when submitting a speedrun and wondered why. I think it's because text links add to the character count. That shouldn't be the case.

Also, I'll ask for it again:

• The error text should be "Maximum character length exceeded (2000)"
• Add small text showing the number of characters you have left while typing.

I think it would be a good idea to lock all threads that haven't been interacted with for over 3 months to prevent necroposts.

For instance, there are some threads from 2014 that aren't locked and are just waiting to get necroed, for example: https://www.speedrun.com/forums/the_site/2ezcw

Update: I meant this mostly for the site forums. Game threads should be locked by game mods.

IL rules should be changed to allow submissions off of Full Game runs, such as on the first frame that the first enemy appears

Threads listed on a user's profile used to show all threads. Now only leaderboard-related threads are shown. I'd like it if this functionality was returned.

Might also be nice to sort and filter threads.

This is why the site decided to allow players to pin a run and do custom game ordering/game grouping. That may not fully represent how good a run is, though. I'd be interested to see if the site dev can come up with an interesting way to customize in the way that @Breadn_ describes

Another metric could be difficulty based on perceived best possible time (which could be set by mods):

1st (5m 2s 067ms from best possible time)

3rd (1s 067ms from best possible time)

10th (067ms from best possible time)

Something like this could all be displayed in a formatted tooltip, but that might defeat your purpose @Breadn_

"at this time" usually means "right now," but it probably also means "and not for a long time."
