It's the exact same principle as the Ice Castle clip - this just confirms you can use any enemy at all to clip through any wall which is really exciting news.
Holy shit I've been trying this for ages and I finally did it. I found a way to clip out of the beginning of (1-6) which is gonna save a lot of time! :D

I've been working hard on finding a way to clip to the boss room from the platform where the bees reside in both (6-1) and (6-2). I've been practicing this in (6-1) since it doesn't take me a shit load of time to get there but the bee acts the same and I find it hard to imagine the structure of the clip is any different.
I managed to clip through the wall at the bee platform making me fall out of bounds for a long, long time. However, behind the bee platform there is the square entrance that leads down to another platform. I managed to get up there, but it isn't what we need. I do find evidence here that you can D.I. Billy a lot while falling.
The real interesting thing is that there is a dark purple square a distance away from the room I managed to clip and fall into - my guess is either that it's not rendered yet or that there's something else over there.
Clipping into the wall makes the camera go berserk though, meaning you almost never have any visual cue of how to get there. I'm now working on how to route the D.I. together with the camera to get to that room.
The room is right next to the boss room, so at the very least this is very interesting. I've also made sure it's not just the platform where the rail leads to from the platform I managed to clip into.
Sorry if it doesn't make a lot of sense - I will try and record some footage.
Does anyone know the RNG for the puzzle board? The colors and patterns seem to be random every time I restart the level, meaning it could potentially save more or less time than I imagined.

I found a way to skip the puzzle board in (5-3) by using my own variation of Squid's egg ricochet. Don't know if this has been found yet.
How about instead of going up, just going left at the bees and luring them with you to that space? Then you have an egg and a bee, and there might be possibilities.
Another idea is getting up there without an egg and jumping down at the exact edge of the gate while Billy is in falling animation. While in falling animation, there might be other spots to clip in too. I am absolutely not sure, and you have obviously done way more research but at the least I'd like to try and fuck around with some things. :]
Oh, yeah! I completely forgot to mention that after you have sunk into the corner, jump again, press up-right you should time a egg kick at the exact moment you lack. I haven't tried your method yet, fanboss, but I will give it a shot.
This skip was just found - still very experimental approaches but I have managed to clip through twice in the middle of the gate and once at the right corner of the gate. Rolly gets just stuck in falling animation a lot too, so there's still a lot of movement left to discover for consistency.

I just found a way to get early access to the Windmill emblem by utilizing the bee monster in front of it. This gives me great hope that we can perhaps lure the bee to the sand ruins part a well for easier and more precise clip-throughs. I would love if someone could make another comparison video again with the old route so we know if it saves any seconds! :]
I can confirm that the same gate can be clipped from the other side with Rolly in 1- 6
The OOB is when you start at Circus 2 and jump to lower platform on the right with the shit ton of monsters. Then go to the upper left corner. It 's there. But it goes so fast that I haven't found a way to control Billy and do an actual jump while going OOB (this does work with the gate clip for instance) so I don 't know if it has the potential I thought it would have. It should still be almost next to a room in the fun house though.
And have you guys found a way to be consistent with the gate clip? :)
I myself do it in two parts - first I get the smaller yellow egg after hopping over the gate by bouncing off the sign, I locate Billy lined up exactly with the corner and make a reasonably far and flat jump and keep pressing up to sink deeper into the corner. At that point, Billy will be stuck if you've done it correctly (you can test this by trying to walk out of the corner).
What you want to do is get stuck like that after the jump, don't move, jump again and slightly press up-right. With a little practice, this becomes a really consistent and easy way to clip through the gate. I can pull it off in one try about 60-70% of the time now.
Thanks guys, but in that TAS I see it clips through the pyramid but not at the beginning platform. Is there anyone who could make a video or guide on where we want to clip through to get to the boss room, which methods have been tried and such? I am still kind of confused but it's really interesting and I'd love to spend some days trying to find a new clip there
