So I have a run of bfbb I removed a while back so I can retime it and never got around to it. Now that I remembered to do it, I'm not sure where to submit it. It was done the day after the game came out, the revision is 601240 and it was the physical copy of it. I remember them updating the game sometime close to release but I don't remember when. Based on the revision number I assume it's not 1.0, but if someone with more knowlege of it could help me out I appreciate it. Said run is here:

While this isn't a Barbie exclusive Discord, there is a section for any and all Barbie games to chat in, and it is active. If you wish to join my server to discuss this game or anything relevant to it, feel free to join. Will post it here and have it on the left side as well for easy access.

I have changed the rules to require which emulator is being used to be noted in your description when submitting a run. I have also added categories for emulator runs as well, since load screens are affected by which one you use. Which ones should and shouldn't be banned will be determined at a later date when more investigation is done. Current runs on the board have been put in their respective categories.

Timing will also require milliseconds time as well, to ensure accuracy and to avoid ties if possible. In the event you are unable to retime yourself, just use 000 and we will retime it for you.

As the title says basically. PS2 and PS3 should be added in the event someone is running the game on that platform. Each platform can make a slight difference in performance, such as loading screens.

I'm curious as to why this is needed? I don't really see a reason why the full credits is needed for a 3 min or less speedrun.

If there is something in the credits that you check for, and that is why it is required, then by all means I'd love to be educated.

So I want to get back into running this game again. I was watching TGH's WR run to learn what I'm doing wrong, and in the video currently up, he mentioned something about we are allowed to pre make a save so we don't have to keep doing the RNG manip everytime we reset..

I just wanna double confirm that this IS allowed, and I won't get a rejected run if I use this method.

This set up to avoid the invisible barrier and skip most of Exultia works consistent on Xbox One, not gonna vouch for the others but in theory it should work on all consoles.

Air control OFF.

Jump down where I did in the video, Starting from top of the slope on the column, slide down diagonally til your cursor (assuming its set to a dot) is on the columns slope, hold up once cursor is on column to make it easier, jump, then start holding up right, or somewhere close to it til you find that sweet spot that makes you stick, mash jump, and enjoy the skybox.

Hope this explanation helps, and actually makes sense. I can be bad at explaining sometimes.

Any questions feel free to contact me.

Edit: Past me from about 10 hours ago forgot to mention that this is also doable on pc, but requires looking a different direction because well...Keyboards don't have thumbsticks last time I checked. Lol

So I noticed that on the board, my run sits in 55th place, with a time of 1h 38m. The run above mine (54th) is a time of 1h 52m.

The question here; Why is my run lower on the board?

I've made the assumption that It may have something to do with the time without loads section not being filled in on my run? Considering it isn't something doable on console due to no autosplitter.

My thoughts; I feel like maybe the runs on the board that are with loads should be the main times instead of time without loads considering console can't do that? At least I think that is how it works, not sure, hence why I am posting here.

Feel free to disregard my thoughts on it, that's more or less me trying to shine light on the subject, but mainly, I just wanna know why my run is lower than a time posted that is slower.

I probably answered my own question but If I am wrong, please let me know.

So it's been discovered recently that some of the tricks in PC such as slope boosting and the super jumps in Exultia, Mars Core, etc. Are doable on console. It being console it's almost guaranteed to be slower than PC, so I was wondering if it would be possible to separate the two? I have been actively learning this game the past few days on Xbox One, but it can be a bit discouraging knowing that I will probably never be able to reach top times on the current leaderboards, so I feel it may be appropriate to separate, but that discussion is up to you guys. I just wanted to shine a little bit of light on the subject, and hope that y'all may take it into consideration. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
