the way i hit it was to compress (push the carts together) the train at the start (hold right instantly), decompress the first 2 (hold left until just those are decompressed), after you get past the spike ceiling jump onto the first 2 carts' gap, and roll across them near the giant spikes and jump near the middle or right. hold jump to land on the red platform and keep holding hand get 2-3 lucky jumps across it. land on the black platform, jump over the red bar, and reach the solid carts (non-hollow). hold jump over the sawblades, get over the first small ground triangle, and win. an alternative start is to not decompress and use spike glitch to exit early and reach carts 2 and 3, but is usually used for sub 15 and is a bit harder.
makes sense, used a video cutter to estimate so probably would've been off
also i have beaten this by a few frames, SEVERAL TIMES
for some reason I can get sockfolder easily on all-stars when i mess around for no reason, knowing i can't yet get it, but then i get it like twice more instantly, but on normal smb1 i've tried all the time and can never get it. is there any physics change to know that makes it easier?
SwitchVC btw, and B/A sprint and jump if it helps.
i don't have discord. Also this strat is RTA viable (for me, at least) and considering its faster than degen and easier, this is actually insane to work.
4-2 IL makes sense but ILs have already been talked about.
Glitchless is fine on its own and making an exception for 1 level would just be odd.
A beginner can easily just submit a run with only 4-2 wrong warp to the normal leaderboards, and it would make sense.
We don't need a beginner leaderboard.
Low% no hearts maybe?
So clicking numbers 1-8 (not on the numpad) you can change the item you hold. 1-6 being normal kindness cards, 8 being a speaker, and 7 being a big heart which does the same thing as pressing B. However, 1-6 and 8 only work if you have at least 1 kindness card or a speaker respectively. 7, however, appears at any time, as it works like B. But, if you have a 7 card held, and click 1-6, you can get a kindness card that works without having one in the first place. So starting the run, you do 7, 6, space. This would also save time at the end because you can keep clicking 7, 6, space to get 1 card when you use all of them.
one framer and another jump in midair, i think while accelerating upward
If I want to start a run on a game with both the game and LiveSplit open, I need to click on LiveSplit, start the run, then click back on the game to gain control. Can I start the timer without clicking the window, and simultaneously starting the game, without an autosplitter?
thx, i was confused about the fix
he might be talking about independently instead of multiple authors
