- Sam's initial position must remain unchanged before creating the save state, but you can adjust the camera angle.

- For verification, runners may be required to share their save state with the mod team to confirm no tampering occurred.

- Start your run with a brief pause to ensure the initial position is clearly visible for verification.

# Language timing requirements

Additionally, **you must adjust your run times according to your game's language version:**

- For **English**, add **2m 04s** to your run.
- For **German**, add **1m 58s** to your run.
- For **Italian**, add **2m 10s** to your run.
- For **Spanish**, add **1m 56s** to your run.
- For **French**, add **1m 59s** to your run.

You can configure **Livesplit** to initialize the timer with the appropriate added time.
Using the autosplitter *is most recommended,* as it has an option to start the timer automatically once you start moving at the beginning of the run. If you choose to skip the intro, then the timing begins on the first frame on which you can see Sam move.
