Q: What is and isn't considered a glitch?

A: The way the leaderboard defines a glitch is very all over the place but I'll walk you through it.

Here are some things commonly mistaken as glitches that are, on this leaderboard, considered glitchless:

• Ladder flicking

• (Normal) High jumps

• 2 stud climb-ups

Here is a (incomplete) list of some glitches used commonly in speedrunning:

• Wallhops

• Dance clips

• Lag high jumps (or freeze high jumps, whichever you prefer)

• Lodges

Note: Any glitch that's part of the intended route of the tower (not counting intentional skips) will be considered Glitchless. For example:

ToIE requires you to do multiple dance clips in the intended route but runs that use them would still be considered Glitchless.

ToOH has a huge dance clip skip on Floor 3 that, while added intentionally, isn't part of the actual route of the tower, so runs that use it would be placed in the Glitches category.

Q: Is there a place I can speedrun towers from events? Time Lost Plain? Practice obbies?

There's also the Unlock Ring category in the full-game section which is one of the coolest speedruns in etoh)

Q: What's the difference between real time and in-game time?

A: There isn't any. You're supposed to enter your time in the in-game time section for the leaderboard though. I should probably remove one of them but I don't know whether or not it would break anything

Q: Could I use an item that's not from an event in the Event Items category? Like bootleg coil? Helicopter powers? Crystal? Other ones I'm forgetting?

A: Nope sorry. If it is from an event go nuts though. You can use any item from an event in the event items category. I'm specifying this because that used to, for some reason, not be true (important note: Paid items such as Heavenly Coil aren't allowed in the Event Items category either)

Q: If I wanted to submit a run on a specific tower that I got during a tower rush could I do that?

A: Yeah

Q: If I get kicked by the anticheat at the end of my run, will it still get accepted?

A: Yeah

I've already checked through Most Of the runs that have been verified but i dont have all the chomiks and i would like to earn them " Fair And Square" As they say so i did not look at all of them and also i might have jus missed some somehow

ok at like 10:35 he legit just jumps into the kill area and survives saving like 5-10s now it's not like the dev just forgot to make it kill you there or anything he just jumps in an area that kills you and doesn't get damaged the slightest bit now you could make the argument that his pc sucks and it was just really delayed or smth but he literally just jumps in without hesitation or anything like it's a practiced move when that would logically not be maybe there's some strat i don't know and in that case call me stupid and spit in my face but i need to understand this @4d9r

Ok so i am Re signing because 1 ) this game is very inactive and it will do fine without me 2 ) i am just not motivated to mod this game anymore Yea . i haven't verified a single run in like 2 months so no big loss lmao

this should probably be an obvious no but i got a 12 minute run but the first 3 seconds weren't captured because obs hates my existence would this still be allowed or am i an idiot for even asking this question

@Ozikura if you haven't realized half of the mod team is gone and in the past 2 weeks i haven't seen very many verified runs and i think that's kinda cringe and something needs to be done about that if you need suggestions get @Arcie68805 on the mod team he's good and has time to verify runs if you feel you need more mods other than that i don't want to resort to this but..........hi,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

in the discord server they announbced more stages or smth fjshdf,js idk how many more stages got added but steve get on it @SteveGaming6833

i've looked at a few of these with sprt and i'm just in a state of thorough confusion like are you counting seconds in your head and adding a random number afterward for ms because even then it seems worse than that take for example elims' stage 1 run it's 4.800 (or 4.817 cant tell) and yet you got 3 seconds what????????????????????????????????

for particularly IL runs you could get a ton of runs that differ in milliseconds but end on the same second and even if your run is the fastest it's still a TIE!!!!!!!!!! bro i thought this game was supposed to be better than obby island what a SCAAAAM
