I don't think the controller matters, so long as you can't press left+right at the same time

You guys I made a massive post explaining how every time would NOT be the same, it's about how fast you can press c,d and +. Runs would not be the same, the runs at the top would be the guys who are perfect in pressing c,d, +. That is for fnaf 1. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a much different story. In my run, there consists of so many different things that can be improved because there is so much that happens. It's not just c,d +, it's also how fast you click that, F2, Enter, and in the menu screen even! You can select in the menu screen even faster than I am right now. Not to mention Clickteam Fusion 2.5 Glitch (as SpiderSponge calls it, I don't know what to call it, I like that name) there is the difficulty of getting it, and there are a lot of strategies that can go into it, like can you actually get past the menu screen faster?

I just need to confirm this stuff because it makes a difference, and the rules don't say anything against it

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

So I'm assuming it's ok?

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

Is it ok if I don't have my mouse on screen? Because in OBS on one of my scenes the mouse is invisible

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

I think I saw this thing online that teaches you how to put some sort of code in and what it does is it just allows you to skip all the way to the end instantly as soon as you started the game. Is this allowed? Though it won't be able to save much time because I still have to complete all the nights myself

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

I'll try it myself and if it happens i'll upload a video on here of it. This is for not PAL right?

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

... MrTim ... The video proof is right there of 370 losing a framerule... also 369 can save the framerule as well

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

Back when I played PAL I actually was able to die to it

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

I do 1) if I fail 11), 7) if I fail 10), 10), 9) a few times, 5)

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

What a coincidence, I just recorded me getting 380 but also my first time losing a framerule with it, wow My main trick to getting 380 the easiest is to clip from the bottom block, as well as a well timed jump at the end This is a link to the video, I just want to add onto NathanAlmighty's tips, he's better at it anyway, I just need to emphasize the clip at the bottom Start at 0:09

And this is me losing a framerule with 370 when I hit the flag, it also emphasizes the block clip more

TLDR: Fnaf 1 the leaders would be the guys who are closest to frame perfect night skips, and in fnaf 2 the leaders are the people with the best night skips, game restarts, and fastest mode selection. TLDR 2: Fnaf 2 should have without load timers because a lot goes into the run

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

Good point, fnaf 1 there isn't much that goes into it, however the people that get ahead would be frame perfect on the cd plus presses and those are the true deserving people. I was also thinking, I found this thing that can edit the game (glitch, whatever you want to call it) to pick which night you have access to now. With that glitch thing if you are fast enough you can actually save time over just waiting for the 6 am animation possibly, and that's where the skill could come from other than frame perfect cd pluses. You have decent reason to not do it for fnaf 1, but fnaf 2 however, there is actually a lot more that goes into the run since when you reset the game with F2 you don't lose the progress, shown in my run and that's where skill can come from, how fast you press cd plus combined with F2 and then how fast you can enter the next night. Not to mention for 100% mode there is a massive amount that goes into this other than just load times, and that's how fast you can go from mode to mode. Also there are even some potential luck factors in there, as sometimes your click on the right or left arrow just doesn't even go through, so that's where strategies can come in with how fast should you click, do you do risky strats or safe strats, and how fast you can click even. The faster you click those arrows, the more likely you are to lose a click, so it really does get hard. Those are just my thoughts for fnaf 1 and fnaf 2 about having load times or not, I don't mean to offend anyone if I am.

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

I agree with Brimstone, there should be a without loads time, so it can be more fair for everyone, as opposed to only the people with the best computer being at the top. It would give everyone a chance at being the best without having to buy a super good computer. I also think it would be good in the other FNaF games such as 2,3,4,etc. Just my thoughts but you don't have to

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

Does there have to be a specific order to each night I have to do? Like would I need to do it like Night 1, Night 2, Night 3, etc? Or can I go Night 1, Freddy's Circus, Golden Freddy, etc. I would still finish them all though.

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

What I do is just simply run the timer before I start the run (I didn't in my run) and then I stop it late. Then I post the video in which I believe has the time I want and then frame check to see what the time is. Comma and Period are the buttons you use to frame check. You could also leave it to the moderators which isn't very nice because then they have to do the retiming stuff. But then again they may already frame check it themselves so who knows.

So I was thinking of running this game but I don't have a Wii U Can I use an emulator?

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

It might be the ROM, you could also try changing the emulator, I use FCEUX 2.2.2. You are not allowed to change the speed though, in the rules it says you may not do anything that an NES can't. I also suggest getting a ROM that is Super Mario Bros. + Duck Hunt for later.

Checked frame by frame, and this is the result This is the video proof

Lul_ecks_dee7 years ago

In the rules it says "time starts when first item is clicked" and then it says "time ends when 'congratulations' is completely visible" which means that his run would be sub 1 min, at 59.70 seconds I confirmed this with frame by frame analysis on YouTube, and that is when all the letters that said "congratulations" showed up.
