Indeed, only moderators have the ability to submit runs for other players. Normal users can only submit their own runs.

The whole variables system is due for reimplementation, tbh. There are still bunch of things that have higher priority, but it is definitely something that should be possible.

I've added them to the series, but yeah that is a sensible suggestion.

The site does indeed convert images to appropriate resolution/format if needed.

Some work has been done on an F.A.Q. but of course actual development takes priority.

As for sizes (subject to change, of course), favicons should be square and are resized if they are larger than 64x64. The logo should be 180x32 and is resized if larger. Back- and foregrounds do not have a hard resolution limit at this point in time, just don't go overboard as bigger image = slower page load.

Mods now have the option to submit runs without automatic verification.

Full mods already have the possibility of seeing and verifying all runs. But just because they're full mods doesn't mean they know every single game of course.

Atari8bit has been added to the platforms list for games made for the Atari 8-bit family (400/800/XL/XE).

At some point in the security changes, being able to edit your own guides seems to have gotten bugged (though mods were still able to edit guides). Should be fixed now, so you can edit them from the guide page itself or the guides page of the game it is for.

Depends on what the community for that game has decided. Some communities might not mind it, others will not allow pausing the timer during a run.

For example, the GTA community has the following rule: [quote] Runs use the Real Time Attack (RTA) timing convention, meaning runs are timed using an external timer (such as WSplit or Llanfair) which can't be paused during the run. The timer does not have to be shown on the video, but the time must be verifiable. [/quote]

The option used to be accessible but it was changed for full mods only as it was easily abusable (as it allowed any series mod to create games and move them to any other series, whether they were a mod there or not). In the same way it opened up the potential for accidental issues.

The option might be reimplemented to allow mods to move it to only the series they are already a moderator of but this is low priority, so for now just ask a full mod/admin.

Guides saving should now be completely fixed.

Indeed a bug, it has been fixed and the wrong entries deleted.

The PM system is still in development so for now the best way is to contact them on speedrunslive IRC or twitter.

Once the PM system is done you will be able to contact them on the site itself. We will be adding a Report button to run pages as well but as there are a lot of things that need to be done I can't give you an exact date for when it will be launched.
