Sometimes the run is verified while there's video and then they take it down. Some games don't require video proof. Some games you can include a screenshot of the end screen or stuff like that.
They won't ignore you on that thread. It'll just take some time for them to get to you. Managing this site is not easy. If anything, you should try contacting the mods before you post there, even through youtube.
If you don't have anything useful to say than don't say anything

- This coming from the guy who had a meltdown over Minecraft: Java Edition existing on the site, and BFBB Rehydrated purging the leaderboard.
- Is a quality and perfectly valid game to be speedrun.
- Then go to TASVideos.com
- If you can do better, please try. Oh wait. You did and failed.
- You don't need to stay here then. A normal person doesn't watch people kicking puppies if they don't like it.
- Again, a quality and valid game to speedrun.
- Assuming you're talking about Wii Sports golf, the same way you would any other game
- No idea what this means. Cheaters are bad. We get rid of them. End of story.
- SM64 has a massive spreadsheet with single star runs to compare different routes and strategies. It's there instead of on the site because it functions much better that way. But why do you care? You don't run SM64.
- Then leave. You're not gonna change anyone's mind.
You'd think people would've noticed all the threads being made about this.
Weegee, JJSrl, HardcoreGaming07, MrCloudKirby, Lucky_Hamburger, to name a few
Do you not check the site regularly regardless of email notifications?
If you think this isn't a very complex task you've clearly never designed a website or built additional functionality into an existing one.
Slightly suspicious response to a dead thread. Maybe I'm just paranoid but flagging to watch anyway. https://www.speedrun.com/isvancanoko/allposts
There's plenty of other links you can include with no arguable benefit. Does it really matter that much?
There's a thread for requesting moderation in the site section of the forums.
I have no idea. Ask the SM64 community. Also, where else would you like them to mention it? It's in the rules, which you should read so you can follow the rules and not get your run rejected.
