did you try using other resolutions to see if you get an image in any of them ?

I think I remember somewhere that said some European countries use a , instead of . for the fps. like 60,00 fps instead of 60.00

You might want to back up the auto_deint, auto_doubler, and AmaRecTV ini files (copy them somewhere safe)

Go into each ini file and change each fps setting like under min fps 59.94 change it to say 59,94

Remember to change each one

ALso when you're done, right click on each file, click properties and make sure you check the box for read only. Hit apply, and then ok.

Sometimes programs will override the ini files and change them back to what it was!

Sorry I haven't replied until now. I didn't realize there was a forum on this website.

Any language is allowed. It's just that the major skip for the game "Veran Warp" which allows you to skip the final 2 dungeons, and go straight to the final form of the final boss is ONLY do-able on the English US cart/rom. (Though there is technically a way to to it on JP, it's way too convoluted/time consuming/difficult to to make it worth using over the US English version). 

So you could do it on a German cart, but you wouldn't really be doing the speedrun route do to the trick not having a viable way to do the major skip. 
Emulator's are allowed for the Oracle games, so you could use an emulator to play the game if you don't want to get an English US cart.

I enjoyed Master of Darkness!

Try downloading a live system like Knoppix, that you can start from a DVD or an USB drive. Then boot that live system up via your preferred method on your PC and navigate to the files you wanna delete and delete them. This most likely is a bit complicated, but it will get the job done for sure.

I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, but try deleting your stats folder in .minecraft

- Super Mario Bros series in general (except Sunshine since it's very difficult as a run, atleast imo)
- Valdis Story: Abyssal City (not TOO hard, but not too easy either... well, you know, like any good game Kappa )
- Wonder Boy series (genesis games mostly)
- Sonic games (1 2 3 & Knuckles, 4 Episode 1 & 2, CD, 3D Blast... there's more but i can't remember the names)

I think speedrunRus is cheating too, all his runs are verified by himself and he only has times on games where he is mod of. If you look at the leader boards he almost has all (fake) records. I think someone should turn on that videos are required because this ruins it for the whole NSMBW speedrunning community. I'm also think that it's kinda weird that just a random guy asks to be a mod, then get a lot of world records and nobody is like 'Euhhmm what? This cant be real...'! We all practice a lot and this random guy can just beat our times without even playing the game.

I just want to say that I somehow found a way to skip the Soldier's Shrine boss (Armos) but it's always completed by a softlock. That's not really an improvement since it doesn't seem to work, but if we could manage to make it work, that could be nice.

It's kind of obvious I think, but if a new build of the game corrects a glitch, the run becomes obsolete?

I just finished a stream of Out There Somewhere, a 2D platformer available on Steam. Standard price is $2.00 US, but it often goes on sale, and in a bundle with Camera Obscura, Polarity, and BEEP.

The game has three main categories, all under 15 minutes real-time. (One is timed using the IGT to kind of implicitly ban a glitch that makes true Any% kind of boring to run.)

It is screen-based, so you can treat each new room as a new level, and focus on saving time one room at a time. That means that you'll be getting PB after PB in the early learning process!

The main category has a huge leaderboard, because it is very accessible and a great place to start, but I really want people to start running Collectibles%. I am soon going to make a Beginner Route video of that category, which doesn't include the advanced skips shown in the top four times. Both categories are quite fun, because the gameplay is beautiful and fluid. Please give it a look! :)

Please tell me you know that NTSC > PAL when it comes to speedrunning. Please please please.
