@GhostScit - Sam is active on Twitter and Youtube, and at the time of this post is actually live on Twitch. I also see no attempt from you to contact him. Yes, exceptions are made for those offline for 3+ months, but considering his activity on other sites I doubt an exception would be made.
Just about any game can be speedrun, hell, there are people who managed to get a speedrun out of TF2, Runescape, World of Warcraft, amongst other games that you would think that you can't speedrun. Terraria is no exception, head over to the Terraria speedrun page - http://www.speedrun.com/terraria - The main categories are Boss runs, individual or collectively.
As for other games to run, I've recently been having fun running Refunct. It's a short first person platformer, about 3 minutes in length if you get good at it, that's gotten a good amount of speedrunners because of AGDQ.
Other than that, maybe try looking at games you already own, see if there's any speedruns of them, see if they interest you, and then give it a try. If there isn't a speedrun of it, perhaps you could be the first. Sometimes the thrill of speedrunning is finding bits to help you go faster, whether it's a glitch, a jump that lets you just get somewhere that wasn't intended, or perhaps just a bit of movement that lets you maintain your speed.
A dark green for me, though that's not an option on the site so light green has to make do.
As for Emeraldaly's addition, I'd have to say peach/cream. It's not a colour that fits in anywhere unless you're using it for white skin.
@DMAN - I'm assuming you mean AvP (2010) since that's the only game that has parenthesis and numbers in the name, and there's no AvP released in 2000.
Going off the assumption that you're talking about AvP 2010, how long have you been waiting on verification? If it's been just over a week, then it's to be expected. Jamacanbacn has been at AGDQ, and probably hasn't had any time to verify any runs. Give them a few days to get back to things.
Always goes on a game by game basis, some communities allow emulators, some allow specific emulators at specific builds, some don't allow emulators at all. If you're ever in doubt, ask on the game's forums (Or if they have one, discord) as you'll get a better response there than our generic "maybe?"
The thing is, without the word of the other Mod, there's no evidence of that atm. Either get that mod to post here, or link to some screenshots.
@Cyanid_ - This is a last resort thread, Derek, the mod for Superman NES was last online 28mins ago (At this post time) - Go to the forums, or contact him on social media and ask to be added to the mod team. However the game is small, and doesn't really need an extra mod, so don't be offended if they don't add you.
That varies game by game, some will let you without a video depending on the time and previous records, eg Mario Galaxy, however smaller games with only a few runs may require a video, especially runs in the top 4 places. If you're unsure if you'd need a video or not, I suggest heading to the specific games' forums and asking there.
TFW the game's also coming to PC/Steam but they don't even mention it in the title.
Any game can be good for beginners (Well, except maybe Dark Souls-esque games) as speedrunning is going through a game as fast as you can. At the start you can just try beating the game the intended way, just figuring out little things to go faster, get used to the game you're playing. After that you can start learning the skips and tricks you need to start going faster.
The general consensus for picking a game is "Pick a game you love", though I honestly feel that's terrible advice. Sometimes you'll end up despising the game in the end. Instead, pick a game you can see yourself playing over and over again. If you can sit there for a long time, pick a longer game, if not, then go for something shorter that you can start to grind out instead.
Everyone will also have different opinions on what games you should play, because there are thousands of games here, and everyone plays different ones. Perhaps go and watch some speedruns and find something you're interested in. You could try just looking at random games, speedrun.com/randomgame works for that and will drop you off on a completely random game page, or you could try going to the games page, http://www.speedrun.com/games and using the filters to find games for consoles you own instead.
Note: If the game doesn't exist, but the series for the game exists, you may also be able to go through the series mods instead.
@Skaleks - If you think he needs more mods, take it to the game's forums and ask him, or use his social media. Don't try to shoehorn your way in through this thread.
Please keep in mind that using this thread is a last resort, in case the current moderators are not responding or refusing your help without justification. You should always start by asking the Super mods of a game/series as they are also able to add mods. Twitch messages to mods are probably best for now. Also try the game forums, many users get notifications when threads are created for games they follow.
Moderator inactivity doesn't apply until around 3 weeks, depending on other circumstances, and it is expected that you try to contact them (exceptions may be made if they have been offline ~3+ months.)
When it comes to things like this it's always better to ask on the game's forums, which can be found down the left side of the game's leaderboard page.
The run on the site is done by the mod of the game, so it may be that they just forgot their own rules.
