It's cool to see how far the game has come, so I figured I'd share it with you.

Yes, I did that as part of my first message. If the post was seen later after the change was fixed, my message would have no context, so I provided context. Why isn't Ikkatosh being pissed on for laughing at it too? The site has been around for long enough for people to know what they are doing.

I was excited to see ILs -finally- being added to the site. Upon checking them out, of course the first thing I noticed was that somebody went and fucked up the simplest chart. It was clear that whoever made the 5x5 chart said to themselves "yeah that's ok" and left it. Yes, I will point out mistakes. Yes I have done ILs. Thank you for fixing it, but don't assume my intentions.

So what? Both gain advantages from having previously played the game. Take a look at Banjo-Kazooie. Not only are FFM moves used now, but never have we had to watch the cutscene right after Spiral Mountain. I don't know why all of these things are allowed in so many N64 games then suddenly there's this rule that """"disqualifies"""" a category from existing.

The game already uses pre-existing data. Unlocking T.T. requires a lot of work before it's ready for a speedrun file, and is not counted towards the speedrun timer.

No. You still did it wrong. Switch around the order of levels and categories.

Stubborn mods. Don't even try. I think Adventure 2 / Adventure 1 should be subcategories for each category, but they're probably not going to change that anyway.

If somebody does find a way to do it, perhaps it would be smart to add the category and make subcategories for platforms (or platforms w/ subcategories being the categories). Good luck to anybody who tries it.

@kirkq, it seems as if speedrun.com/ccat is connected to http://www.speedrun.com/bonte but it is not shown in the series. Is this a known bug? Also, I would post this in the mod request forum, but it's related to this and that thread is currently being spammed heavily with a specific drama.

jh05013 is a mod for 40xescape, which is a game in the bonte series. I submitted my run over a week ago, and it hasn't been approved yet. I'd also like to get all the games in the series to have the same style, have the correct release date, consistent themes, etc. Also the category he has is just the name of the game instead of any%. Just small things like this add up to where it doesn't look like it's in the same series as others. He seems more of a South Korean rhythm game player than a speedrunner based on his YT channel, especially in the last 5 months. Must've fallen out of interest sadly.

My game request of "Texas Hold 'Em Poker (GBA)" was denied. I was the first to finish a run and I requested the game that night. The next day, f1 did his run and then requested the game. How am I now being told that he requested the game first? I for one got him into running the game, and finished the first run, AND have the faster run, AND have put loads more hours into it than he has. What is going on here?

Maybe make BLJ a non-obsoleting variable for 130 star. If there are major differences, make it a sub-category. 2 separate 130 star categories is strange to see.

Put all those empty misc categories into the IL chart. Also probably might be good to remove ZZMT variable. It's like having a "NSS" variable for Crash 2. It's just part of movement. Please make some changes, or recruit others who are willing to.

When I told Toto/Zeplins about it, it was news to them. Finally found evidence of it in my sent mail from well over 3 years ago. Sick meme.

These mods are inactive. FearfulFerret hasn't been online in 3 months and YetiHype obviously doesn't check the forums. I haven't even played the game, I just like it. I'm not at all qualified. If any of you feel like you could implement the changes we've discussed in the forums and be a decent active moderator, please go to the site forums and request moderator for this game.
