Nah, I still think RTA is the way to go. I feel it's a bit unreasonable to expect people not to die in a run, or reload checkpoint. Either someone makes a mistake, or the game messes up, and people can't help that
With so many people playing and hunting for OOBs and glitches, definitely wouldn't surprise me if someone does find a major one before next week. Excited for when someone does
Glitches that have been found are minor, and the OOBs we've found aren't useful as of this moment. The categories should be Any% and 100% in my opinion, as a run with glitches in it won't save a major amount of time compared to a Glitchless one
The best option would be RTA. Going off what others have said in the Discord, the IGT messes up if you die or reload checkpoint
If you're quick enough, you can run past all Sentinels. The ones after the third Sentinel (one with the switch) can be dodged by walking/running with the trash cages, and the last two you can just sprint by - they'll spot you but you can just hide in the barrel and move it into the next room without dying
Yes. The conversations after the Guardians collectibles are needed for the items to appear in the Galactic Compendium
Pretty much exactly what I thought. Thank you for the reply
Unfortunately as of 9th July, no, unless you've downloaded it before. If not, a friend may possibly be able to help if they have played the game.
Sadly apart from that it'll be waiting to see if it comes back. If anyone else knows a way, please let me know
@ArkhamFan69 While I'm not very knowledgeable about coding, there probably is a tool we can make to track progress in 100% runs (besides a note of everything you collect). Randomisers such as Wind Waker and Kingdom Hearts have tracklists for what items are picked up, so I imagine it'd be a similar way
I may not run the game currently, but I think the timer ending on the boss health bar being completely drained is perfectly fine. A bunch of games have the final split end on last input, and I feel like this would be the same thing
Though the rule on starting split should be a bit clearer - you can select your character but still need to confirm afterwards to start the game. I think that split should start then instead

I am one with the Force, the Force is with me.
Enjoy the revamp guys! Looking forward to the new runs
I originally thought of maybe asking one sooner, but haven't since not many people are on the leaderboards at the time of this post. However in one of my streams, Tfresh brought the idea back up to me.
Would love everyone else's thoughts on this - I have the basic shell for the server already set up if people think it's a good idea
Edit: community Discord server has now been added, it's still pretty basic as no one has joined just yet - but if anyone does want to join, link is now available :)
Hey guys! On my last stream, another streamer asked if I had any notes on the dialogue options for the full game/ Good Ending run.
So after a few hours of testing out different choices, I believe I've gotten the best ones written down for BOTH Bad & Good endings. I have added the link in Resources if you want to have a look - and if you want to contribute to any untested options, please either send me a message on here/Discord, or reply on this thread.
I also added some strats I think may be handy for Good Ending, hopefully one can be applied somewhere else.
Enjoy!
That's kinda what I thought. As for the collectibles on Knowhere, you can get a few items with the units from selling Groot/Rocket, one being free as long as you sit through the Lipless karaoke scene
There's some items in a vending machine near the edge of the universe, but I don't actually remember their prices
I'll probably add it after more people show interest in it and there's actually a run to submit haha
Glad you guys are interested though, what do you think about unlocking abilities being part of the 100%? It may be a bit long with collecting all the materials to get every skill, but a full game/Good Ending run would probably give enough XP to get every ability for the Guardians
I was thinking about using a collectible guide and making a route out of that, but that works too haha.
The only problem is that I'm pretty sure some items can only be picked up during certain paths of the story. I think a New Game+ file being included in the run would work, but that makes it even longer and means there can't be a 100% category for both Any% and NG+
Curious on whether people think an 100% category should be added to the board.
I've thought about it, but it'd be a bit tedious with collecting all the Archives, and keeping track of how much of the game is completed as there is no percentage level to monitor
A category collecting everything but Archives could be better (possibly called Archiveless% ?), and showing each page in the Galactic Compendium, as well as Outfits, to prove that everything has been collected
- also curious on whether unlocking all abilities should count?
From memory, the only times you need to use weapons are when the Guardians are fighting the Dweller, and also Fin Fang Foom.
For a challenge run like this, you could use abilities/weapons to build up their stagger bars, and then use melee attacks when they're weakened. Apart from these times, it's mostly smaller enemies that are around to defeat
So a near only melee run is definitely possible
