CanadaYou dont even need to have a timer for your runs, so this wont be a problem
In Solos, I put my timer at the top left because I have no use for chat In Duos, I put my timer JUST BELOW the coins on the right side. It's that simple honestly, and its the easiest fix for anyone to do. It sucks your run isn't allowed because of it though.
That was pretty funny, incredibly unlucky at the end section, but GG on third place!!
I've just tested it and it seems its still possible! So it seems this thing might not have been fixed, but rather you were unlucky, or the timing was off
I've died to it once already, Also you dont need to spam left+right anymore, I've tested and solved that issue
but there may be a fix, I might do some checking later on today
Very interesting that this is a possible category. I always feel that if you have a really good Library exit, you might as well continue until the very end
I wonder if runs that originally start as door 100 runs can be cut after Library and be submitted.

This run is incredibly lucky with the room rng. There are many mistakes I feel were captured here, and there was lots of potential time saves, especially movement related, or with Rush, and if those were corrected, would've pushed you to sub 13. Other than that though, it just goes to show how even Room RNG can boost you to the top. GG!, good job ^^
Although I'm a primarily Solo player, I feel like keeping exploiters and hackers out of the leaderboard are a must. We'd want to reduce the chances of anyone who used a client or exploit to make its way up to the top, giving them an unfair advantage, while everyone who played legitimately suffer because of it.
Even though it would be nice for the performance boost, I feel like the priority needs to be keeping potential problems out. It's not fair to every speedrunner in this game if hackers can play and nobody knows about it, while it's only unfair to some speedrunners if you can't handle recording.
Weighing the positive and negatives, It's much more beneficial to have all POV's rather than only one, because not only will there be complaints or theories that somebody cheated, but it only raises the likelihood of it actually being the case.

Saved, owner of the Speedrunning discord, has just confirmed that the Figure Closet Glitch is allowed in runs. (if I put "[ ]" around something, it means Im not sure about that detail)
The way to preform the Closet glitch, based on what I've seen, [is to spam Q/E when the heartbeat minigame begins (but not when the heartbeats get too close to the middle, causing you to fail it)]. Once the figure is stuck in the animation for the closet, aka when the hearts reach close to the middle in the heartbeat minigame, you are generally safe to hold W and leave the closet (I've died from getting out too early). Keep in mind, you might still have to press q/e even when you're out of the minigame. I advise to walk around to the sides of Figure rather than through him as he might still have his hitbox [as others can still walk into him during the closet minigame and die].
So, with being able to lock Figure into the closet animation while we're able to run freely about for a few seconds, would this be viable anywhere as a new Speedrunning strategy?. I have a feeling it could work, but the best solution I'm seeing right now is avoiding figure altogether.
Oh he is yeah. His run would definitely be deemed invalid, he's probably just doing it to brag "he's going to get WR" or something, even if it isn't allowed
