Set, though this may have affected the theming of /aessdgk . I do not have the assets for that, and I apologize that it happened.
@Crazy_Quackers - Due to various account issues, I would not be able to add you to the game even if you had a run at this time - a reminder that this is listed in the first post as well. That said, I will still attempt to contact the moderators about this issue. Tweeted at @BoredBlaby , as they have recently used their Twitter.
EDIT: They came on and are looking into this.
@Tinonb1 - Your run is pending a week, well under the three weeks we ask you give game moderators. The moderator for the game in question - @bboccio66 - is not inactive ( https://www.speedrun.com/user/bboccio66/info ). Have some patience, please.
@KooTY - Declined, due to account issues. Please reread the first post and fix the issues before resubmitting.
@CaneofPacci - I had not looked at the game request queue that deeply to check when I posted that, sorry. I noticed it there when I looked earlier today. Thank you for having done so.
@MewsSnep - Handled.
@Otterstone_Gamer - Looking into this.
Handled @Timmiluvs but please link their posts to make it easier :P
(the like is on the first half of that post. I speak nothing of the second half with the more proper feedback)
As the old adage goes, "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink."
@iliekchez : Handled the game. Series I simply removed them; there's no real need for there to be a series moderator in most cases.
@CaneofPacci : Declined. Submit the game as a game request for us to consider.
@Nikitos - There is no question here that is in reference to the scope of this thread. Nuggets answered your previous request. Please keep posts in this thread relevant to the thread's topic.
@Dadu - Oftentimes with Twitter I find it far easier to mention someone in a tweet rather than messaging them, so I have done this. I also whispered them on Twitch, as they just streamed 14 hours ago there. Will give them a few days to come on to check the runs. EDIT: They responded to the tweet and handled the run :)
@AirAngel - Take two, based on new information: I will try reaching out to @Jefestrefe as they are active. EDIT: They came on to handle the run :)
As a side note, this is one of the (plethora of) reasons we strongly discourage editing runs for a new PB and instead submitting them as a new run. Cleaned up a few posts afterward in this thread as they were related to this.
@Poshact - Going to decline this for now, as while you have a run on the boards, the moderator is still contactable via their YT or Reddit (the latter of which was used two days ago). If a run is submitted to the boards, then I would attempt contact on those. You are correct in that they deleted their Twitch and Twitter.
@stoic_rose - Regarding flOw, as the moderator has no contacts on their profile and is close to being very inactive, I have handled this. Regarding Picross 3D, that moderator is active (March 17th), so I would encourage you to attempt contact (I tweeted at them as well).
We felt it was very similar to how a visual novel is, hence why it was rejected as such.
As a side note, just because something is on the site does not mean we will accept things similar in the future. The four games you pointed out were all taken in 2017/2018, when we were not as stringent on game requests. It is likely they would be rejected if they were submitted today (though I have not watched them to see if this is indeed the case or not).
@cheesecake Declined, as you do not have a run in either game.
Is there a reason you aren't using the main board for these categories?
Cleanup/Status updates only (no new requests in this post):
@lolaway : Has been a week since I posted about it (gave them a bit longer since they were active on the site), they haven't said anything, added as a regular mod. (as the user in question is still considered active)
@Milan35 : While they responded to me almost instantly, it's still been a few days with no sign of them logging on. Will handle this tonight if it's not done by then.
EDIT: They did handle this. Glad they did, but really would have preferred it not coming down to the 11th hour.
Depends on factors. For example, I've memorized all the categories of one game I run, which has runs of 2 hours, 2.25 hours, and 3 hours. I can run any of those categories without notes. However, it's also a more linear run, so there's not as much routingwise to memorize. Another run I do is 3.66 hours and I only have the first 1.5 hours fully memorized. That said, the remaining 2.16 hours is almost fully memorized, it's just a handful of equips which I need the route for. Longer categories for this game (at over 7 hours or even over 8 hours) I consult notes a fair bit, and for more than just equips. I'd like to get to a point where I have the routes fully memorized, but it's much harder due to nonlinearity.
