After a couple years and discussion among the runners of the game in the SMTRTA discord, we have decided to merge the emulator and console boards for both DDS games to better align with the ruling for the other PS2-era SMT/Persona games. All current emulator runs have been moved over to the main any% board in correspondence with this.

As a quick heads up, after discussion amongst runners in the discord server, we have decided to slightly alter the timing method in the run to conclude upon confirming the choice to deal the finishing blow to YHVH. This is being done to fix a discrepancy in the differences in post-final boss time between Conflict and Anarchy endings and to remove any confusion in regards to when "time" is supposed to be called generally.
I will be taking it upon myself to manually retime all runs currently on the board to reflect this change.
1.6 and newer is fine. 1.5 was just the newest version of PCSX2 at the time the updated rules for allowing emulated runs were made
Really the only glitches/exploits in the run are the two OoBs that save a combined 30-40 seconds, and the double feena exp in Solomon's Temple, which just saves some enemy kills you can route around. imo nothing significant enough to warrant making an entirely new category for their omission.
Apologies we had a conversation about it in the discord then forgot to respond. Because we don't fully know the timing difference between running on disc vs running off PS2 HDD and it isn't technically an "official" way to play the game, you can submit but under the Emulator category and indicate in the run description how you were running it.
