Hello there! I'm Drew, most notable for various community projects relating to LoD. I have wanted to attempt a Disc 1 speedrun (at least) for the last year or so. My goal is to start practicing over the next few months, and record a Disc 1 time before stopping. I hope to explore multiple routes!

In case it is common courtesy to welcome newcomers with various tips and links, please refrain in my case. I prefer to do my own research before asking for questions and advice (checking pinned threads here, looking at other runs, etc.).

For this game, I walk into it knowing that A. this is a very long game full of unskippable wait time. and B. I am a lore person; speeding through all the dialogue will hurt my soul a bit. This is much of the reasoning why I am just getting myself primed with Disc 1 standalone. I might end up liking it anyway, I might not. However, I want to try, and so I will. I expect to stream my practices on Twitch starting in a week or two~
