True, but if you complete the run you'll have everything unlocked again. Having your high scores wiped would suck though.
It's not a rule so I guess the answer is no. Sounds cool though. Please ask these kind of questions in the discord, though.
100% could look like this: -Finish all Party Games -Complete all difficulties in Balance Boat - Double Up -Complete all difficulties in Balance Boat - Time Attack -Finish a game of Match-Up -Finish all mini-games in Freeplay -Finish all categories in Battle -Complete all the Solo difficulties -Complete all the Challenge modes -Unlock Spot The Sneak -Unlock all CPU difficulties -Anything Else I Missed
And if you really want to you can add the rule that you need to finish every party game with ALL CPU difficulties.
Since now there are partial game categories, I had an idea. What about a category called End Game% or something like that. Complete Ruined, Bowser's, And Moon Kingdom. Timing starts when screen fades to black after cashing in moons in luncheon kingdom and ends when you shoot out of electric wire in moon kingdom. This is from my Any% pb (From 1:01:23 to 1:24:25). Final time is 22:41. Yes, I know I'm bad. Just a category suggestion.
This looks interesting. Mabye instead of 100% it could be called All Unlockables or Unlockables% Also, I think you forgot the solo mode difficulties.
I think swordplay showdown IL's should be on the category extension leaderboards. I did some runs for it also.
Beach In 1:03
Beach Reversed In 53 Seconds
Bridge In 54 Seconds
Bridge Reversed In 1:10
Lighthouse In 1:02
So I had a question: How do I submit a multi-game leaderboard request? There are leaderboards like "Multiple Mario Games" and "Multiple Pokemon Games", and I wanted to make a "Multiple Wii Sports Games" leaderboard since I run the games, but there doesn't seem to be an option for multi-game requests. Does anyone know how I can do this? I'm sorry if there's an obvious answer/no answer and I'm just stupid. :)
@paintophobia is right. Also, @SpeedWaluigi , in the SMO speedrunning discord there's a section for balloon world where you can talk about this stuff and post balloon codes.
I had a couple ideas. What about individual swordplay showdown levels as categories. Also what about a swordplay showdown category for the reversed levels.
I like the idea of the 1v3 minigame category. I did my own run.
Here are the rules I came up with: -Timing starts when you press "Start" on the first minigame screen -Timing stops when "Finish!" appears on the last minigame -You must play all the 1v3 minigames in order -You must be playing against the cpu's -All cpu difficulty's are allowed except for beginner -You must finish first in every minigame -You can replay minigames to achieve first
Here's the video:
Note that my capture card has a second delay.
I think that the 1v3 minigames could be split into 2 categories. The first one could be where you play against the other cpu's. The second category could be where you play on the 3 player team instead of going against all of the cpu's. I probably did a bad job explaining that, but you get what I mean, right?
Thanks for reading!
Is submitting runs with IGT required or is it optional?
I'd say try the all sports run. All sports is a good start for new runners. Or if you want to do more high score runs, do bowling or 3-point contest. However, it's really up to you.
