Before this starts I want to say, this is my personal opinion as someone who has a more inside look at the system then most people. It's not something I was told to say (since some people have thought that in the past.) It's just my thoughts on the recent changes and the changes to come.

ELO does a good job with listening to what the community wants, and it was/is a big project taking on a new site like SR.C. I was a C Mod before ELO took over, and I can honestly say that there has been more community changes since ELO came into the scene then when it was just Pac doing things.

People don't seem to understand that stuff like this takes time, and while yes, the monetization stuff is something that is happening first, there will still be community suggested updates and community betterment updates coming out in the future. Back when it was just Pac working on the site people would be waiting months for QOL updates and they never knew which update would come next, but there was never any complaints about it until someone else took over.

And to people who say that the community has no say in what happens anymore I say this. Send me a DM, send any C or F Mod a DM about concerns you have if you feel they need to be heard directly. It's one of the main reasons we volunteer with the site, is because we care about the community.

That being said, I don't agree with the people saying ELO is in it "just for the money" because I've talked with members of ELO directly and can see that they want to learn more about the community they entered and be able to understand what people want to see change, it's just a big process that can take a bit of time to do.

Anyway that's my small rant about things, hope it doesn't come off as hostile to anyone as I in no way meant it to be, just hope that this will help some people understand that these things take time.

Hello everyone! I never really did one of these so I figured there would be no better time than now. I've been on the site for around 4 years now and have done roughly 1000 runs on various games, a few of my favorites being KDL, Luigi's Mansion, and just about everything atari. I've recently joined the SRC team as a content mod and figured I should introduce myself a little better to the people who may not know me. so posting this here since there is a section for it, but I have been having a problem that is fairly consistent with streamlabs OBS. While streaming, My stream will randomly go down and reconnect, which is a problem for speedruns obviously but that isn't the only issue, it seems to be that my internet as a whole cuts out for a second, but only when I stream. I noticed this because I would stream CS:GO or Hearthstone and be disconnected from my games when my stream went down. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue or if anyone has any ideas to possibly help fix this issue?

so Pac has been without the golden A for a few days now and I was wondering what happened? Is it just for testing or is he taking a break from the site for a while?

This has probably been asked before and I just can't seem to find it. I have my twitch account linked and I have been affiliate for a while now, but I can't seem to find the option to add an icon next to my name for it like some others have.

So this has been happening for a while now, I am running games and need to reset, so I reboot the core, or reload the rom, or even make a save state at the start of the game and just load that. But, every 2 or 3 times I do this (any of the methods) my bizhawk crashes. Anyone else experiencing this?

for these categories is it normal kills or final kills?

so, when attempting a run of this, I could not find pac-attack or pac-mania, are there pre-req's to unlocking those modes?

EDIT: did a search and found that I needed a score of 20K on pac-man for Pac-attack and 15K on ms. pac-man for Pac-mania. I was wondering if there should be 2 high score categories? one for completing the game normally (like I did without pac-attack and pac-mania) and have the current all high score setup as a sort of NG+ since you need standing scores on some in order to do the run.
