It doesn't look like either of them use equipped items but it doesn't say they are not allowed. Are items allowed for single scenarios or no?

Awesome thanks! Yeah records for each individual scenario seems a little too convoluted. It also makes splitting easier since we can just split at the end of each mission to see if we improved or not. But arcs are definitely a good intermediate.

I have been optimizing and grinding this game a little bit but I still feel the speedrun of the full story is way too long (even with heavy optimization there is pretty much no way to get it under 4 hours). I think you even mentioned it in the speedrun you did a couple of days ago that I watched. Do you think it could be possibly divided up into arcs? Each arc is probably about an hour or a little more which would be more manageable, but I am not sure if that makes sense.

Hello all,

New to speedrunning but I have found a lot of interest in the gameplay / mechanics of berserk band of the hawk (recently released on steam).

It doesn't seem like anyone is speedrunning this game? Or hasn't even been attempted yet? I feel like it would have to be NG+ with items (since NG story would probably take too long, but I haven't tested that)

I was wondering what your guys opinions on speedrunning this game was for people who have maybe played it or seen it. Or better yet actually know someone who is currently speedrunning it and what format they are using.
